Nice hotel in great location, great breakfast too.

The Lince is in an excellent location, close to the sea, town centre, shops and pineapple plantantion! Despite being on a busy road, the room was very quiet with no significant outside noise. The hotel restauant and bar had a good selection of foods and drinks. The breakfast was particularly good. The hotel indoor pool was warm, open many hours and clean. The room itself was well equipped with a fridge, safe, reliable wi-fi etc. If you are looking for a good hotel, in a convenient location at a realistic price, then I would highly recommend this one after viewing its full details and guest comments etc.

Friendly stuff, comfortable room

We arrived late, but early for us with the time zone change. After check in we had a drink at the lively bar, Saturday night and the crowd was fun. We were not able to use all of the hotel amenities offered. Breakfast buffet was substantial, fueling us for our first day on Sao Miguel. We walked to the Pineapple Plantation which is nearby. Would gladly stay again.

Awesome view and in total everything was fine.

Hotel was nice and staff were friendly. Breakfast buffet had a variety of food to accommodate kids.

The pool was a great as well as the breakfast buffet. Location is good enough.

Não sou pessoa de escrever comentários, no entanto, este tenho mesmo que escrever. Passei um total de 6 noites neste hotel em família e, lamentavelmente, não posso dizer que fiquei satisfeito com a minha estadia. Desde o início, enfrentámos problemas que prejudicaram a nossa experiência. No nosso piso, apesar de ser proibido, havia um constante cheiro a tabaco nas áreas comuns. Isto é inaceitável, especialmente num ambiente que se diz livre de fumo. Além disso, a partir da segunda noite, e todas as noites seguintes, um alarme soava intermitentemente durante várias horas, deixando-nos em constante sobressalto. Reportámos o problema à recepção na segunda noite, mas não houve qualquer resolução ou feedback nos dias seguintes. Apenas no último dia, e após ameaçarmos escrever no livro de reclamações, recebemos uma resposta do director do hotel explicando o motivo do alarme e oferecendo um jantar como compensação, o qual declinámos. Outra situação decepcionante ocorreu na zona da piscina interior. Quando não havia ninguém do staff presente, tentámos usar o telefone disponível para contactar a recepção em caso de necessidade. No entanto, apesar de várias tentativas, ninguém atendeu, o que me obrigou a sair todo molhado até à recepção. Além disso, o banho turco esteve fora de serviço durante toda a semana. Em resumo, a experiência ficou muito aquém do esperado devido ao cheiro a tabaco, ao alarme perturbador, à má gestão do problema pela recepção e à falta de atendimento na área

The hotel itself is really pretty. Its about a 12-15 minute walk to the popular city centre with all the shops and restaurants. Parking was free and we didn't have any issues finding a spot. The breakfast buffet was really nice and lots of delicious food including local cheeses and Mimosas. Overall a great stay here.

Je suis assez déçu de l’hôtel, pas d’après shampooing, ni de body lotion, pas de bouteille d’eau (elles son payantes et ils ne le disent pas), le buffet du petit déjeuner n’est pas top non plus, pas très qualitatif. C’est dommage, car c’est sensé être un 4 étoiles, mais le service n’a pas été à la hauteur.

Et stort hotel, med basseng og spa. Innsjekk gikk fort og fint, og rommet var romslig med grei utsikt. Det var lite trykk i dusjen, så her trengs en forbedring. Vinduene manglet litt tetting, slik at når det blåste, ulte det i vinduet. Også en stor glipe i døren vår ut til gangen. Noe vi tror bidro til lyden i vinduet siden det muligens laget gjennomtrekk. Ellers et hyggelig greit hotel. Veldig stille og rolig området, så ellers lite støy. Hotellet er et 15 min gange fra selve sentrum, slik at man må beregne litt gåing

The Lince is a very nice hotel. The staff was very helpful in letting us store our luggage since our flight came in early in the morning before 3:00 check-in. We were told we'd be called when our room was ready, but we never were. Ultimately, we came back to the hotel at 2:00 and the room was ready. It would have been nice to have received a call so we could have checked in sooner. Otherwise, the breakfast buffet was nice, the room was clean, the hotel had good amenities for our short {1 night} stay.

We found the staff friendly and helpful. Hotel was clean. Our room was quiet.

They should offer a bundle laundry service. Charging 1 Euro per pair of underwear and $5 for shirt is a money grab. A bundle option should be given like hotels in Spain.

Great place, but not close to stores.
