Cheap and cheerful, staff very nice, and the traffic very well.

When we checked in , the reception said "she did not have our booking information". The room were full of book, no room for us. Asked me to call my agent about here is no room for us. I said "I don't have agent, I used Hotels.com. I got an confirmation mail from Hotels.com. I already paid.She said"The money is not give to us, it's pay for Hotels.com , so we do not have your money." She did not want to solve the problem on that time. Just told us to go , go fine another hotel. She spoke with her manager by phone. She did not even let us speak to her manager. She checked mail again and found out she had our information from Hotels.com , but she said that is not booking confirmation. Later on she gave us 2 choice. First was 1 double bed room on 1 floor, Second was give us two 1 double bed rooms on 2 floor. We choose second one.When we just got into the room she knocked the door and said she had another family room for us . We followed her there. The family room no. 115 was awful , in order to not sleep separately . We choose the family room. The family room looks like some people was taking a turn to stay here, not for guest. Unwashed glasses in the sink. Pile of dishes on the kitchen counter. Unfinished noodles on the cooker. Unfinished shampoo and shower gel in bathroom. Lighter and cigarette's ash on the desk. Broken cupboard and cabinet. Some foods in the fridge and kitchen. Hotels.com just said they have sent my complaint to the hotel. That's it.

I checked the distance between Euroairport Basel (Mulhouse) and this hotel on Google, and it was shown just a walking distance of 1.1km. However, stepping outside the airport in midnight, I cann't find any pathway to walkout. Then it costs me Euro15 to take taxi for a 20 minute drive. Though it is not easy to arrive from airport, it is very convenient to arrive Basel SBB (railway station) by taking Tram 11 for less than 20 minutes. I contributed this to the very good city transportation system in Swiss, jsut like I was in Munich. The tram station is less 5 minutes walking distance from the hotel, and you can buy the ticket on the machine at the tram stop. There I saw the building of Novartis is not far. Breakfast costs Eur7.7. In comparing with another hotel I stayed on next day (Saturday), I wouldn't recommend this hotel for its location (no shopping nor restraunt nearby) as you may have no choice in the evening just stay in room.

Good option for overnight between flights. Easier to reach by bus from the Swiss side or uber.

Exceptional location. Bakery and mini market straight across street. Bus sstop straight outside.Small Football Stadium at the back. Staff new english and helped with any questions effectively.

Clean room, great facilities. Excellent value for money and in a great location to explore the surrounding areas. Staff are friendly. We would stay again 100% The only downside was needing a kettle but not a deal-breaker. They do have a coffee maker but no coffee pods

Perfect location. The hotel needs renovation and the pictures do not display how aged are the rooms. Under the bed you can see how well the rooms were not cleaned, but overall it is manageable. If you are going for work in Basel is great Location. Very close to transportation and 20 min from the Basel center. Also there are several cafes and Supermarkts within 2km. The neighborhood is not that amazing, some would find questionable, but I felt safe and well located. The police station is close by.

Helt OK rom, preger litt tegn på at det er litt slitt. Renhold var ikke helt OK, med småhår i sengen, hår på badet og ikke godt vasket rundt vasken. Kjøkkenet er nok ikke sjekket, fordi det var matrester i boller etter forrige gjest. Men komfyr og kjøleskap var rene. Sengen er litt hard, men helt OK. NB! Dobbelsengen i soverommet er smal! maks. 140cm bred, sovesofaen virker litt bredere og mykere. Veldig nært grensen til Sveits, det er et pluss, med trikk til sentrum av Basel hver 6. minutt.

Le hébergement est bien situé et pratique, mis à part le stationnement qui est payant dans la résidence et quasi impossible à l’extérieur. Le personnel est accueillant et disponible. Le petit déjeuner est assez complet.
