I really enjoyed my stay, we book for a 4am drive to Gatwick. The staff were lovely, no lift so don’t bring a heavy case (although one of the porters took it up the stairs for us). Sitting out in the grounds was beautiful. We had an evening meal, which was outstanding Traditional manor, no air con, fan in the rooms but that was enough for us.

Great spot for a short stay. Beautiful building. The rooms are fine, but could use a refresh, and more attention to detail in the cleaning.

Really nice one night stay. Parking was easy and the room was spacious. The only negative point was the fan in the room was not good enough for the size of room and the level of heat. The staff were excellent.

Das Haus ist großartig und gepflegt, wird vor allem von Tagungsgästen besucht und richtet Familienfeiern aus. Es gibt einen mittelgroßen Park herum. Englisches Frühstück, kaum kontinentale Optionen. Abendkarte überteuert, Freuende guter Küche werden hier nicht froh, dann lieber etwas Einfaches an der Bar. Cocktails gab es aber dort gerade keine (!), offensichtlich war das Personal dafür nicht qualifiziert oder unterbesetzt und lehnte die Bedienung ab. Parkplätze ausreichend am Haus vorhanden und kostenlos.

The room was comfortable, the shower excellent, the staff were lovely (especially the receptionist). I do think that it should be made clear when booking that the lodge is a few minutes walk from the main hotel.

The manor house and estate was spectacular. We were a little disappointed in that we booked to stay in this wonderful manor, but upon arrival we were told that our room was located in a small house on the property about 400yards from the manor house by the entrance gate. It was referred to at the "lodge" Reception staff were efficient, but not exactly friendly. The breakfast was exceptional.

The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly. Our room was clean and luxurious and was beyond our expectations. Breakfast was tasty. Would definitely stay here again.

I had a really pleasant stay at this hotel. The staff were very helpful and welcoming, which made the experience even better. The location is easy to get to, making travel to work convenient and the hotel offers good amenities that added to the comfort of my stay. Overall, a great choice and I’d happily stay again.

Very friendly atmosphere and beautiful settings and although I only stayed one night I would definitely go back. My only negative is that the Wifi was a little lacking as I was there on business!

Stayed in an annex room, the stairwell was filthy. The carpets look as though they haven't been vacuumed for weeks - fead flies. Established cobwebs

The internet was slow as was the room service It would be great to add fridges to more rooms Staff were all lovely and helpful and the building and grounds all lovely.
