we stayed in the beachfront Villa, which is big and beautiful! Staff is very helpful and nice. just 20 mins walk or FJD$3 taxi to the Art village, which has supermarket, bank, some restaurants & cafes and souvenir shops.

very nice. beautiful scene. great beach side. we booked beach front Villa~we love the beach outside the window. good staff and nice service. only one restaurant is not enough. we have diving and adventage activities. the resort is very near adventage venue. only one weak point. resort is too far away from the Nadi airport~ Better go to SUVA airport~it is more near the resort~NADI airport to resort take about 2.5hr-3hr~

I spend money for the buffet lovo night. Not enough food when I got to get more food. The hotel stuff packed all the fish in a container, left all the bones. I paid so much money for the meal and no food was left for me and my family.

Accomodation was great! Was unfortunate that the pool was being reconditioned

Sea front wooden bure is not that good barthroom is separated and water pressure is not acceptable took me almost 30 minutes to take my shower perthetic only the dinner was perfect

Lovely spacious resort with beautiful grounds and huge, comfy bures. One of the best beachfront bars we have experienced and good for beach walks and relaxing.

Overall it was nice. The room is spacious, the garden is beautiful and the beach is very nice. My big disappointment is there was no bath tub in our villa. I double checked when I booked the resort and saw the picture. Other than that it was a quiet and relaxing stay.

There was no towels in the room no fan water was leaking from the air conditioner. My brother sip and fall outside the villa. Bed sheet was dirty, rooms was not clean well at all.

Excellent choice in Pacific Harbour! I just stayed here with a group of 21 university students at the conclusion of a two-week trip around Fiji. The rooms are large, comfortable, and in an attractive setting, and the price point for these rooms is an excellent value. The restaurant/bar/pool area provides a delightful environment for relaxing during the day/evening, plus the various specials that they run every day make for a very affordable stay. Moana and the staff are very helpful. Prior to our arrival, they assisted me in adjusting my dates with no problem, and also reached out to me via whatsapp to see if our group would like to attend their Thursday Island Night/Fire Show (which we did and thoroughly enjoyed). Throughout our stay the staff was very warm and helpful, and assisted us with any particular needs we had. Uprising is also part of the Duavata collective, which promotes culturally and environmentally sensitive travel across Fiji. This was my first time staying at Uprising, and I am very glad that we did. In the future, I will continue to bring groups here, as it is a great base for the various activities (diving, tubing, golf, fishing, etc.) in the Pacific Harbour/Beqa area). Thank you to Moana and all the staff for providing such a wonderful stay for our group.

This property shows off Fiji to all visitors, from friendly staff to beautiful landscaping . The ocean views of sunrises and sunsets are spectacular

OVERALL REASONABLE STAY

This is true and beautiful Fiji. We stayed here ten years ago and couldn’t wait to get back. Our own bure was spacious and immaculate. We have never experienced such a warm and welcoming staff in all of our travels. The place is like staying in a beautiful Fijian village with coconut palms, a great swimming pool, dining room, bar, and beautiful beach with a view of the Beqa island.

The staff were incredibly nice and joyful especially the bar and restaurant staff. The grounds were upkept nicely, and the gardens were beautiful. The restaurant food was always really yum and reasonably priced compared to other resorts and hotels. The only let down was the cleanliness, the bathrooms in the restaurant area were not cleaned the entire time I stayed, and the dormitory I stayed in for half of my stay was very dirty with lots of bugs dead on all the beds. The dormitory also only had fans but out of the four, one was broken, and majority of the charging points were broken. But thankfully I visited in low season and basically had the entire place to myself so was able to move around and it wasn't too hot. Due to the cheap price, good location for shark diving and lovely staff, I would still definitely stay here again.

The staff were great but waited 30 mins for breakfast while staff was busy talking.even though I could see that the chef was waiting for waitress to deliver my breakfast..I had to go and pick my breakfast, and then the waitress realuze she firgot my coffee also.....Pathetic service The staff

Wonderful old resort! Staff were all great! So friendly and helpful! The swimming pool was a nice temperature and the large shallow area was perfect for our two year old to play safely. Our burr was comfortable with the breeze wafting through the screened windows. I wish there had been hot water for showers.

Upon check in we were handed stained thin rag like two towels.bugs and bug poop on sheets. I do not recommend this place.

The staff were fabulous. The food could have been a bit more adventurous, with more fruit ie banana's and paw paw. We had a terrific stay and hopefully we will return.
