Feel nice

Staff is friendly, bed is good. But other facilities are poor.. stain everywhere, on carpet, wall, light switch door....down light on top of the bed is keep flashing.... at night, I would like to find a staff, but no telephone in the room, i downloaded the app for live chat, but it say it is too late, so ask me to call a number, but the number is incorrect..... finally, I got to go downstair and look for a staff, which he was doing a checkin for 20 vistors, and i wait for more than 20 mins..

There was so much construction and noise all day. The car park was £5 daily but no spaces available. We had no hot water in the room for the stay and no alternative room was available

A lot of building work going on - no notice of this in advance so was ill-prepared for the drilling, etc to start up at 8AM this morning. Had I known in advance, I would have booked somewhere else

Hotel, room and bathroom was all great. It is under refurbishment at the moment and our room window was looking out at a wall which wasn’t so great. But honestly was very good value for money.

Building works but no problem. Noisy guests in the corridor that woke me up at 1:30am. My meal in the grill was badly delayed as the request 'got lost'. Room was large, bed was comfy, shower was good. Free parking at the weekend. Not bad but not the best

This was an excellent hotel for our needs as a stopover for crufts nec.The room was clean the food was good all the staff were excellent no problems would book again if going to Birmingham.

First room we were allocated was really cold, but we were quickly and without fuss, allocated a different room. No real issues. Lovely stay.

Clean comfortable room and hotel. Check in was quick enough, but it was self service only even though there were staff working.

The original rooms now need some TLC Ceiling paint over bath/shower Bathroom door Air-con still doesn't work (using a small fan heater as room was freezing)

The more was no hot water in the room. All I want is a quiet hotel, with a decent bed, and a hot shower. I do not want a cold shower. I got a cold shower. Room 324.

Good hotel overall However, have been located a room near the stairs on occasions and the door slamming all the time is a pain!

The bathroom needs attention in regards to better cleaning and maintaining, I had to clean the mould of the shower head, but on a positive the gym is really good

The gym was mega. The breakfats was great and so was the dinner.

Room was amazing and staff were lovely :) having a Starbucks on site was also very nice

Room have damp issues would be an easy fix. Staff front desk useless. The breakfast staff are absolutely wonderful. Food was nice. The rooms and hotel is very clean and smells lovely. 10 Building works are going on next door didn’t hear a thing over the weekend couldn't answer for the week days. Beer selection was good. Spirits the only one missing is Malibu

Sadly I had high hopes for this hotel but I would say it’s more on the budget side. Minimal storage, minimal TV channels, no Netflix, pre-made cocktails, no light-filtering curtains (so we had to keep the blackout blinds down as our window was above the busy car park), bar was more like a students union/airport pub, no decent room service options, mattress was exposed under the pillows without a cover (disgusting), floor lamp didn’t work, room was cold, no room phone for reception. I expected more so maybe this may have been an issue on my side. I would say that it’s a slight upgrade to a budget hotel.
