It’s a pleasure to stay at Waring house whenever we come to the County. Everything clean and tidy and the staff always nice and helpful.

The gardens are stunning. The staff is very friendly. The layout spread over multiple buildings makes for a charming experience. The live entertainment in the pub was very good.

We had not expected the extensive gardens, a truly lovely property. The staff were all very helpful, our room was in the original homestead and it was tastefully decorated. We did not have WIFI in our room which probably was not the case in the newbuildings. Nevertheless we were welcomed to sit in the charming bar with our tablets. The breakfast which was included in our booking was first rate. We'll be back!

Charming inn, although room was a little dated. Breakfast was fantastic, lots of choice. Wait staff were excellent. Gardens were beautiful and location very central.

We would love to give a better review of the property, it seems like it could be charming for a three star hotel and the property itself has lovely flowers this time of year. But there was nobody there when we checked in, our room was not clean when we arrived, with dirty rags on the floor and the shower looking like it had seen better days. The room was also not cleaned DURING our stay, even when we called to ask, the elderly woman at the check-in desk said there was nothing she could do about it and made us retrieve our own towels. In terms of the included breakfast, the staff neglected to remove allergens from our plate, even when asked. Though everybody seemed nice, the level of service was certainly not befitting $800 for two nights. I would only recommend seeing if you’re paying $150 a night or less.

The check-in staff were unfriendly. The shower curtain was worn out and dragged on the bathtub floor. Only one shampoo was provided, which was insufficient.

Very impressed with the Waring House. Lovely location, huge clean room. Ideally located next to the millennium cycle trail through the countryside and close to Picton. Only down side was the Pork was dry and they have a culinary school so it was disappointing but otherwise couldn’t fault the place. One top tip would be to have cycle hire on site as the nearest is a drive away and if you wanted to cycle the Millennium trail and wine taste you are limited.

Breakfast is excellent and the pub has an authentic atmosphere. However, the exterior of the buildings we get assigned to as clients who have used Hotels.com to book are starting to rundown noticeably, if not dangerously so. Also, the bathroom showers in these same buildings are amazingly small even though the room itself is very generous in size.

Das Hotel besteht aus mehreren Wohneinheiten, eine neuere und zwei ältere. Außerdem ein separates Gebäude mit Restaurant und Pub. Das Essen im Pub ist ... 👎, im Restaurant deutlich besser. Im Pub stand auf der Rechnung mehr als getrunken wurde; die Reklamation lief problemlos, aber ein "Gefühl" blieb. Das Frühstück kommt aus dem Restaurant ist kostenlos, a la Cart und wirklich gut.

Staff very friendly and helpful

The bed was having squeaky sound so couldn’t sleep and were not well rested. Reported at check out time.

The hotel is well situated; close to town and connected to the Millennium Trail. The staff were friendly and helpful. I was impressed that the included breakfast was a served meal, and it was tasty! Would happily stay here again.

Beautiful property and rooms. Friendly staff. Excellent breakfast in dinning room looking out to garden. The pub on property was cozy and had great live musical entertaining. 3rd time there and looking forward to going again.

Though the area we stayed in was very dated, the beds were very comfortable, lots of pillows, rooms very clean. We enjoyed our hot breakfast and the pub where we had the best soups (apple cheddar and an onion soup). Staff was friendly and helpful. We will go back.

Great place to stay if you are visiting Prince Edward County

The rooms were so clean, bright and spacious. My room had a balcony. All the staff were helpful but the staff in the restaurant & bar were fabulous and seemed very happy. The food was excellent, especially the breakfast that was included with the room rate! We disnt get to stick around for the band/music so cant rate this. Bonus that the bike trail was right off the property. I would highly recommend staying here for a peaceful, relaxing time.

Beautiful property. Great location too, at a major crossroads. We really enjoyed the breakfast that was included. It was excellent. The staff were all very friendly and very accomodating.
