Always a nice stay and good food

I was a lone traveller so it was important to feel safe. I did. My room was clean and tidy.

Room had a bath (which my partner likes) but the tap was disconnected permanently. Pillows were too deep for my neck so i had to use a rolled up towel as they only had these pillows. Evening meals were disappointing but breakfast was fine. Plenty of parking. Easy to find. We weren't in the main part of the hotel but in one of the external/courtyard rooms, however this was a plus as we weren't disturbed by the wedding reception on the saturday.

A lovely place to stay

The Cedars is a really nice friendly place to stay. The staff were very good and were happy to help with any issues you had. The breakfast, in my opinion, was really good value for money, and itcalso helped that it was very tasty.

We had very comfortable rooms. The Cedars is in a nice spot a short drive out of town. Staff are relaxed and helpful.

Just what we required 👍 everything we needed for a night away from home

Really pleasant stay. Clean and up together room with a super hot shower. Very comfortable beds and no noise outside. Have stayed before and will again.

Ideal location for Barnstaple town. Quiet & comfy

Tired needs redecorating however clean

Stayed 25/03/2025 Hotel rooms are clean and tidy the rooms are interesting as they are in blocks. I stayed in the first floor room and was pleasantly surprised at how spacious the rooms are. Bathroom was lovely and clean. There is also plenty of free parking available on site

Nice quiet room everything you needed. Great price.

The food was a high quality and a reasonably priced. The area is really quiet and not built up,so you don't hear any traffic noise.

Amazing hope to be staying at The Cedars Inn, Barnstable again soon.

Not a bad place but the Food Was NOT Good. The heating in the room sucked.

Excellent staff especially restaurant. Food choice ok but no real salads. Room a bit tired with broken light fittings. Steep stairs. Even with £20 discount room cost was well over similar hotels. Breakfast extra.
