酒店设施太老，外面太吵，窗户吱嘎吱嘎响，没睡好觉。房间里没网络，发个邮件要到楼下的大厅，很是不便。

The hotel ticked all the boxes and was just the job. The decor in the room needed a bit of TLC and the windows needed repair or replacement. The staff however were great, really helpful, attentive and considerate.

Greater warmly by Ryan who checked us in & showed us our room. Room was clean & adequate for one night. Bed comfy & clean soft sheets. Parking was available but we were unable to gain access due to a fire up the high street. Bar staff lovely. Restaurant very nice comfortable & food was really nice.

This is a very nice little inn. My wife and I love to stay here every time we come to visit family in Alton. It is just what we are looking for: a nice, clean place to spend the night. Highly rated.

Overall, it did the job. Parking was easy with CCTV protection. Excellent service, spotlessly clean with good food and fine wine. It is an old building and the decor was tired in places however, it was very reasonably priced and a good town centre location.

Located in the high street with parking it was ideal for a one night stopover. Room was very pleasant & spacious and comfy bed. Breakfast was really good- buffet items plus cooked to order menu. Couldn’t fault anything. Excellent value for money.

It was a good visit. No complaints. I will say that the picture of it being by water was a mystery. No river or canal in sight. But cost effective trip, if you have dietary requirements, don’t pre-book the dinner as it’s a different / limited menu.

great location, easy parking good rooms

For a consecutive month, I booked with a Greene King Inn to include an evening meal with the breakfast. The hotel is situated in the middle of a busy high street with great parking at the rear which is easily accessible. I was warmly welcomed and directed to my room which was nice and clean. It was warm and I asked for a fan which was supplied quickly. I went for a 1 hour speed walk and came across a village called Chawton which was a lovely part of the world to walk around. The included evening meal was really enjoyable and served in good time. I had a solid night's sleep and a hearty breakfast got me off to the best start. I would proactively look to book here again next time I am down there.

didnt use the bar personally, so can't comment, but the room we stayed in was extremely clean, the staff were very helpful, no problems with parking and fir residents staying at the Swan 20% discount on all food bought in the restaurant! very pleased

We enjoyed our stay and the friendliness of the staff made the stay. They were professional and helpful. Clean ground floor room was perfect for our needs evening meal was basic menu but well cooked and tasty Breakfast was good too. Would stay again

Fantastic hotel! Perfect location. Lovely staff, free parking, and spotlessly clean. There's always something in the cleanliness area that makes me pull a face in most hotels I've stayed in, but not here, absolutely spotless! Lovely stay, highly recommended, and will most definitely return

It's not possible to explain how fantastic the staff were. I got stuck and called the emergency number and the team were amazing and helped. On to the normal nitty gritty: there is plenty of parking, you need to log your reg number when you check in on to their tablet. Rooms are nice, not too fancy but the bed was super comfortable and you have blackout blinds if you want to have a lay in. The bathroom was super clean, and a great size. The only issue (which is not the hotel's fault!) is taxis (including Ubers) around the area are almost non-existent. If you're going, make sure you can book a taxi well in advance as I was not able to book one on the day. I would definitely stay here again if I'm in the area.
