If you have the urge to stay in what might be a medieval castle, consider this property. It was listed on one website as a 1* facility. Confusing to find the entrance & check in. Someone from the restaurant eventually assisted us. Yellow limestone brick walls … which are fine. No elevator so not an accessible property. There is a 3 piece bathroom (some black mold) in each room, wifi, TV. & AC. There is no fridge, coffee or tea available. There is no where to put your luggage except on the floor. The hotel asks that you hang towels to be reused but there are no towel racks or hooks in the bathroom. There’s a breakfast served in the restaurant from 08-1100. Order from a menu. Standard fare. Usually eggs. Parking in a large lot at the front of the restaurant/hotel but often jammed with cars double parked etc for visitors to Mdina. There are self appointed (as far as I can tell) parking attendants who look for cash from you as they ‘assist’ you to park between the white lines.

Hôtel très bien situé, tout près du rempart et de la porte d'entrée de Mdina. Chambre simple mais spacieuse et confortable, avec un climatiseur très silencieux et un petit réfrigérateur. Le petit-déjeuner est copieux. Un arrêt de bus et un parking public gratuit sont présents devant l'hôtel. Nous avons été très bien accueillis et y avons passé 5 nuits agréables. Excellent rapport qualité/prix.

Point de Vue is located in a great area almost directly in front of the main gate for the old city of Mdina. We had a lovely Superior double room which was spacious and had a wonderful view out of the Maltese balcony. The bathroom was also large and had a great walk-in shower. There is no elevator, however a staff member did assist us with our luggage. The breakfast that was included each day was ample but of average quality. There is a free public parking lot directly in front of the hotel, but it is usually completely full. Upon arrival with our rental car, we waited approximately 30 minutes before a spot became available. During high season it would be nearly impossible to access.

O hotel é excelente, tudo muito limpo e perfeito. Tem restaurante de ótima qualidade dentro do hotel com atendimento muito rapido e pratos generosos com muito sabor alem de preço justo, tem também um asiático embaixo que é sensacional ebem proximo, um restaurante com 5 estrelas Michelin. A localização é muito boa fica bem em frente ao portão principal de Medina, sendo um lugar central para se deslocar por toda Malta. Por ali passam todos os ônibus e, como é ponto deembarque e desembarwue de turistas que visitam Medina, no fim da tarde o preço de Bolt, Uber e táxi fica ótimo para ir a qualquer lugar da ilha. É um hotel muito bom para famílias e para quem busca tranquilidade à noite, ficando próximo de tudo em Malta. A equipe do hotel está de parabéns gostamos muito e voltaremos com certeza .

We stayed 4 nights & found the guesthouse to be ideally located for Rabat & Mdina, public transport. We rate it excellent & the only comment would be a more varied breakfast menu otherwise we would return without doubt obviously at the right price.

Läget är perfekt och boendet var trevligt. Det som saknades var en vattenkokare så man kunde göra morgonkaffe.

Friendly staff. Helpful with luggage as place has no elevator. Good working airco. For hot water, ensure to put the boiler switch on. Location is perfect with a huge public parking lot in front of hotel. It’s right by the Mdina gate.

Charmerende ældre bygning. Venligt personale, god beliggenhed, flot udsigt. Rigtig fin morgenmad, god restaurant (og flere andre tæt ved), velfungerende aircondition.

The breakfast had multiple choices. We did not need the A/C as the room was cool at night with the window open and minimal putside noise.

The heating machine was not working. After several attempts they upgraded us to a superior room where the heating machine was working properly. Nice service!

The room was very neat and tidy. All the staff was very nice. Breakfast good awhich was included in the price. The evening meals was good too which was not included in the price, but you got discount for staying at the hotel. Would definitely go back.

“Point de Vue is in a fantastic location just outside the gates of Mdina and close to the attractions in Rabat. The hotel was clean and well maintained. The rooftop offers a wonderful view. Its Asian restaurant serves delicious, impressive food. The staff were friendly and welcoming. Highly recommended.”

Right next to Mdina—perfect location for an early morning or evening stroll through the streets of this ancient town. Delicious breakfast included. We’d definitely stay here again!

The property is walkable to Medina and near bus stop. It was advertised that there is parking but very hard to find parking because the property is near a tourist area. We had to check out early and I asked the manager to provide us a breakfast box but he never did. Also this property has no elevator.

Very nice people working. The beds were comfortable but the pillows were not. Parking was pretty easy (I think we got lucky that there was space in the lot in front). Our shower leaked on the bathroom floor and made a huge puddle, we think there is some sort of leak. Bathroom is VERY warm. AC in the room worked great! WiFi reaches the room. No elevator to top floors.

Only upstairs rooms AND NO LIFT. The staff are very friendly and welcoming and helpful, parking can be a bit fun. Love the Wet floor sign. See photo.
