Beautiful breakfast good bar

Purdy Lodge was ideal for us, room was great with view out to the fields. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff, food was great as well. Would definitely stay again

The rooms are very clean, even though it is next to the A1 it is very quiet. The breakfast was nice and staff were helpful.

The room was super clean. Beds really comfy. Quiet witha nice view . The staff wereall friendly and helpful. We had an evening meal there which was delicious. Breakfast was also very good with option of hot or cold menu. Really enjoyed our stay and would definatley stay again

Great for an overnight stay. All the staff were polite & friendly. The food we had, both dinner & breakfast was tasty and the dining area was pleasant. Our room was clean & comfortable. The only issue was with our shower. There was very little water pressure and felt like you were hugging the wall to get under a trickle of water to get clean. It was just enough to wash under, but I was pleased I didn’t need to wash my hair and try to rinse out the suds. It would have taken an age.

From checking in to check out the staff were friendly professional and even when busy were cheerful. Accommodation was clean comfortable and quiet. Access to either restaurant or cafe was easy. Good selection at the bar and meals were great standard.

Lovely stay. Some inconsiderate guests that make a noise can be disruptive but a sound night's sleep had on comfortable beds once they shut up. Anyone taking dogs to the site too.... Take the poo bag to the bins provided! Great breakfast selection and lovely evening meals

My room had recently been re-decorated and still smelt a little of emulsion. This is a very convenient stop off on the A1. The rooms face away from the road and there is very little traffic noise. I had an nice meal at a reasonable price.

Good value for the price paid and location good for travelling to other locations. Excellent breakfast, Room was clean and staff very polite and attentive.

Good bar with great choice, the eveing meal and breakfast certainly surpassed expecations, the cuisine was simply fantasic

Excellent set up having the 24 hour cafe, breakfast and dinner in the lodge were really good, staff were very helpful. It was a relief to actually see a smoking area outside! The bar was great to have, just sitting with a drink and playing cards or relaxing. Very happy with our stay and would go back and recommend.

Front of house staff were very friendly, room was clean and cosy. Breakfast was delicious, lots of choice and coffee was good. We will definitely stay again 😊
