The rooms were clean and well stocked you had everything you needed. The host was very friendly and the breakfast was lovely with lots of choices. My dog loved her sausage every morning.

A fairly basic hotel but it had what I needed for a stay before going to Lundy. No issues. Comprehensive breakfast choice.

What a lovely 4 nights stay I had here, cared for by Lynne and her team. After arriving, I have to admit my heart sank a little upon the roadside exterior of the property which looked very tired……BUT……as the expression goes, NEVER judge a book by it’s cover 😀 My single bedroom with en-suite, was spacious and well refurbished. Breakfasts were a delightful choice of “everything “ if you could ever eat that much….!! One other major benefit for me was my 2 dogs stayed with me “free of charge”…..a rare benefit these days, with yummy sausages thrown in to take away for them to boot. Meeting a selection of folk from around the world during my stay in this small, sociable accommodation was lovely. Favourable tariff, good value for money and highly recommended😊 I now have here on my ‘list of places to stay’.

The owner is fantastic and so hospitable. Great breakfast, very plentiful. The rooms and bathrooms were clean and the room adequate for our stay.

Lin is lovely and I honestly don't know how she does it. it's an old house like most in Ilfracombe so don't expect a lift and the car park is quite steep. I stayed here for a few days either side of a trip to Lundy and it was perfect for me. Lin would have let me leave my car in the car park had she not been full but it was perfectly safe on the road outside as there are no restrictions and it was only a 15 minute walk to the pier. Breakfast is great if a little late for me - I'm an early riser at home. The fridge on the landing was a nice surprise and very useful with Lidl just around the corner. I'd definitely recommend this place and stay here again..

One night stay whilst hiking the SW Coast Path. Good location about 10 minutes walk from town. Quiet area. Friendly, welcoming host. Large clean room. Comfy bed. Fan supplied as was very hot. Clean, renovated bathroom with nice shower. Good breakfast. Honesty bar.

rooms were clean and tidy, bed was a little low, but not a problem for us...might be for someone with mobility issues. Free breakfast, which was a nice change!

Breakfast was very good, lots of good quality food, Room clean & Comfortable As a non smoker guest smoking just outside the dining room was off putting.

Staff were very polite and friendly, breakfast was great and plenty of choice..didnt like the fact there were no pillow protectors or a toilet brush..overall a vety nice stay.

We enjoyed our stay at sherborne lodge. Staff were amazing and breakfast was great too. The room was very clear and well presented. There is a bit of history with dining room and adds to the charm. Lunch and dinner spent in town. Car parking available. Price was responsible too. Easy walk into Ilfracombe town centre. A small hill on the return walking journey.
