Achei uma ótima escolha pra ficar em Lamego. Decoração do quarto moderna e sóbria. Café da manhã com boas opções. Restaurante com preço honesto. Pessoal super simpático e acolhedor. E um excelente Spa pra fechar o dia e relaxar.

The staff was amazing and the facility was spacious and clean anywhere we went. There were great spaces to releax by the pool, enjoy breakfast, and sun. The staff was extremely helpful and offered to book a win tasting tour nearby which was such a pleasant experience. I would come back to stay if I were in the area.

O quarto é grande, o banheiro é bem bom. É um bom custo beneficio para ficar na região do douro. O café da manha é bem gostoso!!

Room was sparse but clean and comfortable. Hotel lobby and restaurants were very nice. We enjoyed the sauna and pool.

Before I review the hotel proper let me just say Lamego is a really cool town and this hotel is an upscale place from which to explore it. The staff were excellent. Everyone we came into contact with was friendly and helpful. Check-in was easy and parking was in a secure underground parking area. The restaurant is nice but I would recommend going out - there are better choices in town. The pool, hot tub, steam room and dry sauna are great! Clean and functioning. My girlfriend got a spa treatment. She could not have been more pleased. Her massage therapist was engaging and did a wonderful job. She called it a real value. The room was very nice. Big bed and amazing view. And the pièce de résistance was a strong flowing, clean shower. I’m really glad we picked this hotel for our stay in Lamego.

We had a really lovely stay in the Douro Valley. Pedro at the front desk was beyond helpful. He booked us an amazing vineyard tour/tasting. Everyone was beyond helpful and friendly. The hotel is nice, clean and offers a very nice breakfast and onsite snacks. We were a little confused when we pulled into the property on where to park - the garage is under the property. The pool is beautiful and made for a nice place to sit and enjoy our morning coffee.

Hotel is ok. A bit expensive for the quality of the rooms I drawers for example. Really? Food was ok Front desk super good Restaurant service is very bad

Rooms were just okay, quite basic, very stark. The property, lobby, and restaurant were beautiful which was quite a contrast to rooms. Carpet was a bit dirty and musty smell in hallways. Pool and bar area was beautiful. Town was extremely quiet when we were there and unsure of walking around at night. Exceptional wine tour by Bambuti arranged by hotel. Overall a nice stay.

Amazing stay at this beautiful hotel with exceptional service. The pool is absolutely gorgeous. The breakfast was vast and delicious.

Rooms were clean and comfortable but sparse, could make better use of space with additional armchair or something. Carpet should be upgraded to something more comfortable Walls are very thin and we had to ask to move rooms. Staff are super helpful and friendly. Restaurant was nice although over priced. Spa area is nice to hang out in on a cloudy day. The walk into lamego is only 20 mins and not so tough with the hills.

I cannot say enough positive things about this hotel. At check-in, I was thoughtfully greeted and allowed to retreat to my room well over 3 hours early. Reception encouraged me to get some rest when I mentioned I was quite tired, and that they’d be happy to give me a tour once rested if this was my preference. This considerate gesture was just one of MANY positive experiences with this lovely staff. From an interior design standpoint, I found the hotel well curated with special details like beautiful dinnerware from Costa Nova and materials that reflected the natural environment. Everything felt quite serene. Even the thought to plant rosemary in the gardens added a special touch; When out by the pool in the afternoon sun it smelled only of herbs and the effect was just so unique given the wine and the vineyards that surround the hotel. The food, too, was excellent. From Caesar salads with quail eggs, as an example, everything had just a little something extra. The breakfast buffet also had expansive offerings including local, hand-made pastries. And with respect to the facilities, I wanted for nothing and enjoyed the spa and pool very much, including the fact that the spa had “children free” hours for those of us looking for those relaxing quiet hours. I can’t wait to return with friends. There was so much more to do and see and my short weekend trip was not nearly sufficient. Further, it was so easy to get to! Obrigada!

Staff were so helpful in finding us a wine tasting on short notice. Such a special place! Food was amazing! Can’t say enough about their level of service.

Hotel with large outdoor pool and spa. 2 km from centre of Lamego. Public areas very smart, staff very good, excellent buffet breakfast. Very busy with families in late June. Car park was full most of the time, but always space at the front of the hotel. The restaurant was very disappointing. The food was expensive and mediocre, and the service was poor. We ate in the bar on our 2nd night, which was as bad, food served on wooden platters which meant it was cold! Drinks were very expensive. Mixed experience really, though would probably stay again.

Excellent hotel and accessible with lifts and ramps. There is plenty of space and room to get around. Rooms are spacious. The hotel has the historic old house called the 'palcete vista alegre' in its surroundings. Swimmimg pool was nice and warm.
