Great house services as the owner was very nice and generous during our stay. Rooms were tidy, but wish there was a separate toilet on the top floor and the wood floor was a bit noisey whenever people walk...

The cottage is warm and peaceful. It is very touching which Amanda provided homemade cake, bread and jam. It is likely staying at home and every details let me feel the warm hospitality. This historical cottage is highly recommended. However, there is a room to improve for the shower, it is quite hard to adjust the hot water.

If you want to experience something new instead of just living in boring hotel, you should stay at least one night in this cottage.

Old cottage, self catering not a B&B Wobbly front step, dirty and dusty in all rooms. Fully of old items that did not add to the charm. Dark and some of the lights did not work. The bed was awful and needs replacing as it was leaning to one side . All the taps leaked and sink leaked. Needs a lot of work to be comfortable. Glad I was only there for one night. Very expensive at $220 a night. Upside free washing machine and dryer

Loved our breakfast provisions and wonderful fresh baked bread and muffins and conserves. The old bakery furnishing and surrounds was a lovely place to stay.

The bed, was to big for the room , and creaked when you moved,lack of fly screens,the kitcen utensils draw could of been cleaner.the fire was very good except switching on and off dangerous .the windows had too many cobwebs inside . The washing machine needed balancing..

We absolutely loved our stay. It felt like coming home. The cottage was cosy and clean and the home-baked treats were so special. Highly recommend.

We enjoyed staying in The Old Bakehouse because it was convenient to our travels. The entire procedure was easy and we found Amanda to be responsive to our messages. Check in and out was a breeze and we found the breakfast a welcome addition to our stay.

Cute little cottage in a beautiful historic town. Lots to see. Cosy, comfy house with beautiful yard and apple trees. Also with fireplace, tv and washing machine for added bonus. Perfect place for a relaxing getaway. Wish we stayed longer

Fabulous large cottage with every amenity including full breakfast supplies and freshly baked bread. Highly recommend as a base for touring this part of Tassie.
