The first time I went to this hotel was over 35 yrs ago. Somehow it has maintained that old world charm from Germany. My grandkids and friend decided we should spend another night there. The staff is friendly and actual scratch made cookies in the lobby. Breakfast is on par with Hyatts located in smaller towns (I consider them the best). You can stay at the Hampton next door (same owners as Sunday House), been there done that in a number of cities. BTW a good German Restaurant is a 10 minute walk from there. Not 100% authentic but really good food, great service, and large portions.

Office staff very accommodating about the town, shopping and dining. Very friendly staff at the breakfast area. Will definitely choose the Sunday House for a future stay.

First time staying here . I loved it. The room was spacious staff was friendly, lived the pool and hot tub and breakfast was delicious and plentiful. Next time in Fredericksburg , I will look here first . Everything was walking distance in town

The staff was incredible! Even before I arrived, Dee was helpful and friendly when I called about late check-in and was super friendly once I arrived. When I needed to extend my stay Evelyn went above & beyond to help arrange. And Seth exuded customer service. The inn is not new and has some wear but the housekeeping staff does an exceptional job keeping rooms crisp and clean. Will stay again~

Was given a room facing/near the street. Was told it would not be noisy. It was. Smoking outside rooms by others. Only redeeming quality of the place is proximity to town.
