It's good and quiet

隔音設傋差，影響睡眠！

My first room was not good, no hangers, no teaspoons, felt very very poor value, I informed the staff who were excellent, I was then put in another room to complete my stay, now that room was amazing, 4 poster bed, really fab.

I booked this room before reading the reviews and was quite frankly terrified it was going to a disaster! I even thought about bringing sleeping bags lol. I needn’t have worried. Whilst the bed wasn’t the most comfortable, the room was spacious and clean and the location is perfect if you are visiting central Reading. Just be aware it is above a bar so the music was quite loud but it finished at midnight and then we had a good nights sleep.

breakfast was good, although not many choices but was nice and convenient.

Great place, very friendly gent at the front desk, the bar staff gave me a nice glass of ice to take to my room, bed was comfy and room was a nice size - recommend

Nobody at reception, bar shut so knocking on door in a room full of flies. Eventually got checked in, corridor stank disgusting. Wouldn't rush back.

Not the cleanest hotel I’ve been in - poo stains in the toilet and dusty bedding

El desayuno es el mismo todos los días, pero bueno. Personalmente no me gustan las gradas si en algún momento incorporan un ascensor sería espectacular. La ubicación es excelente, muy cerca de todo: restaurantes, supermercados, estación del tren, mall, cine. El personal es muy amable y colaborador.

Room was okay, music was loud but told in advance. Staff were a little rude

Chambre propre et agréable avc petite attention ( bouilloire, different stick café normal et décaféiné, thé, stick sucre roux et blanc avc petit cube de lait. Le matin petit déjeuner ce qui est très agréable different choses bonne à manger (inclus séjour) pour le déjeuner et dîner en sup réservation restaurant. Seul petit bémol je dirais que le mur entre 2 chambres sont très fin et que l'on entend tous (conversation, -18ans...etc) aussi la propre de la douche (moisissures au niveau des joins carrelages). Sinon à par çà j'ai passé un très bon séjour dans cette hôtel.

Great bar restaurant downstairs. I was staying alone but was made to feel very welcome and looked after by the staff. For the price, I thought the room was great. Incredible location only 10 minute walk from the station. And the continental breakfast in the morning was perfect. Can’t really complain at all. Thank you guys it was brilliant.

Worst hotel I have ever stayed in, from poor service to feeling very unsafe to not being able to use the shower as I felt I would be dirtier leaving then getting in it! The whole experience has left me feeling very uncomfortable. Not only did I feel totally unsafe the rooms have not sound proofing meaning the party in the room next door felt like it was happening in my room an how convenient that when the dance class that was taking place right under my room that finished around Eleven - the room next door decided to carry on the party… management visited the room but nothing changed - it went quiet for a while but they were not deterred and started the party again at 5am! Absolutely terrible experience from beginning to end! DO NOT STAY THERE!!

Everything was excellent

Decent bed and shower, nice enough staff, and overall an average hotel stay. I’m giving it three stars because I was a bit disappointed with the breakfast. I had higher expectations when it said breakfast was included, but there was very little available. The selection was really small and there was hardly anything to choose from. The breakfast buffet definitely needs improvement. That said, the stay itself wasn’t bad overall.

Noisy, dusty, tired, and a broken shower. Avoid at all costs.
