We had a very pleasant stay as usual we use this hotel most years on our tour of Europe. Bridget and the family are very welcoming and friendly.

Sehr schönes Hotel. Super schöne und moderne Zimmer. Personal ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Essen im Restaurant ist sehr gut. Frühstück ist sehr reichhaltig und gut.

Schönes Hotel, bei dem anscheinend regelmäßig investiert / renoviert wird. Nur das Frühstück hätte im Verhältnis zum Preis umfangreicher sein können.

Had a lovely stay and the outside of this hotel is very pretty. Was having a big extension built and in the morning, we were woken up by someone doing pipe or elctrical work above our room, not best pleased at 8.15am in the morning. Aside from this, the satff were lovely and we had a beautful dinner in the hotel restaurant, home made schnitzel - was delicious. Only used as a stop hotel on our way tot he Stelvio Pass so location was perfect

Room lovely, large and modern, beautifully furnished. Breakfast top class, good choice of quality bread, meats, cereal, yoghurt etc. Lovely walk to Schiltach. Nice area. Nice bakery opposite. On check in, we arrived very early. I just went to reception to let them know we arrived, not expecting to necessarily check in, and stated we were early, we knew. Still got told off by lady on reception, which was not necessary. Then the evening meal was disappointing, hard over cooked chips , my wifes fish had a tasteless sauce, very mediocre meal for the price. I had stayed at this hotel some 2 years ago, food then was good, but very average now. For B&B, this hotel is excellent. Just reconsider the evening meal.

We have found a gem! Wonderfully located in the heart of Schwartzwald with a good restaurant. Family owned since 1898! Friendly staff, quiet, comfortable, clean, well quite extraordinary! Highly recommended.

Ein sehr schönes Hotel. Sehr nettes Personal. Zimmer sehr gut und sauber. Essen hervorragend, Restaurant ist immer gut besucht.
