It seems this heritage hotel is still the same since last 20 years with no upkeep and has jugaad fixes to keep it running. Totally not worth the price. Location is also not that great.

I stayed Windsor Lodge with my daughter in June 2022. This is a Heritage property and renovated long back. The rooms are spaces and staff is very friendly. The problem is rooms are very old, stinking, linen and bed not good condition. Old style TV, bathroom, network issues away from the city. This Property needs immediate renovation.

Food quality was good and staff behaviour was also very nice.

Rooms were comfortable if a little damp maybe due to being out of season. The building in the picture you don't stay in. Laundry came back wet as it was just hungover a balcony. Gym wasn't in use. Staff and food were good. Probably best hotel in area

Windsor Lodge Is a cosy hotel right next to the Ranikhet Golf course .The positives are large , well appointed rooms , excellent service , view of the Himalayas in winter . Rooms have air conditioning which is rare in Ranikhet and useful in the day in summer months . Ideal location for long walks and relaxing . The only negative is high food prices though I must add the food is really good
