The lovely Hotel Villa Santa Catarina is Guatemalan-owned. Beautiful two pools, great view of the lake, and a short tuk-tuk ride to Panajachel. The restaurant on site is fantastic for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Room was spacious - no A/C, but not a problem with the cool lake breeze at night.

The hotel is okay, most of the natural beauty around it makes it look a lot better. There is no AC so be prepared to be warm during the day. Our room was over an hour and a half late and we were not compensated whatsoever even though we were waiting for them. It's time for isn't overly attentive and the wait time for the food is definitely not worth it.

The pools and gardens are lovely as you come into the courtyard off a street lined with lights and colorful hanging basket streamers leading down to the water. I loved the sounds of the school next door. The room was great, staff was friendly and helpful and the food at the restaurant was the best on this whole trip. It was easy to get a taxi to Panajachel for the public water shuttles around to the other villages.

El hotel es impecable… muy lindo y bien cuidado! Da gusto estar en el jacuzzi.. y el área de piscina es lindisima! La comida muy buena y muy bien presentada..!

Hermoso hotel, cuenta con desayuno, aguas termales y las habitaciones amplias y muy limpias. El personal está vestido con sus trajes tradicionales y son muy amables

Cozy, quaint, great staff, lovely grounds, rooms had nice terraces and a great pool. Unique small town on Lake Atitlan, less crowded than others and town park close by with great sunsets over the lake. Good meals.

O hotel é lindo, os quartos espaçosos. O hotel não disponibiliza shampoo nem secador, mas o chuveiro é ótimo. A equipe é mais formal e, mesmo o quarto já estando pronto, eles não permitem que você faça checkin nem um minuto antes. Mas todos do restaurante e recepção foram muito educados conosco. O café da manhã é gostoso e em boa quantidade, já os outros pratos que pedimos não nos agradaram tanto. Achamos as camas um pouco duras, mas, de maneira geral, é um ótimo hotel.

Always a great time there

Staff was helpful, the room was clean although I thought it would have better bathroom amenities. There was also a lot of groundskeeping activity very early on Sunday morning. The food was delicious, overall it was a great and relaxing stay.

The place is beautiful, and the views are incredible. The customer service was also outstanding!

This hotel is beautiful. The location is perfect. The restaurant has good quality food and very clean . I highly recommend this property. The staff is courteous and attentive.

Hotel santa catarine es un lugar bien callado y acogedor. Su personal es muy amable y servvicial. Tiene una excelente vista al lago Atitla. Y los volcanes y esta ubicado muy cerca de panajachel como a 10 minutos, es exelente lugar para relajarse, se les recomienda como cinco estrellas hotel

La habitación esta linda comoda, algo que le agregaría es aire acondicionado. Opciones para trasladarse a Panajachel, ya que esta como a 15 minutos. La comida del restaurante es rica, solo deberian ampliar las opciones. La piscina y areas comunes todos bien. No queda a la orilla del lago, si esta a menos de 5 mins caminando.
