Friendly and informative staff on arrival. Basic but services close and easy to use as links to other parts of Southampton

Clean & comfortable room. Bathroom was fine, had bit of trouble with the shower. Right next to services so plenty of food choices. Good location outside the city centre. Park & ride 5 minutes away for concerts at Southampton football stadium. Check in bit late at 3pm. Top Tip: DO NOT put hotel postcode in sat nav, takes you somewhere else 10 minutes away! Put Rownham Services M27 West instead.

Staff was brilliant and had good customer service. Probably the worse hotel stay I’ve had, weird noises at night from heaters and other appliances so couldn’t get a good sleep. The hot water went out one morning so it wasn’t hot enough and the shower head was filthy. Very uncomfortable stay. All I got was a voucher for my troubles which I appreciate as staff can’t do much but serious renovations need to be had for this establishment.

Getting woke up by cleaners cleaning in the e morning after doing a night shift wasn’t very pleasant

It beggars belief that a supposedly professional hotel group wouldn’t check that everything in a room was working correctly before they let it out. It is also difficult to understand how they can let a room to someone with a happy dog which intermittently barked through the night, so preventing another guest having a good night’s sleep and, when he wakes, the shower only runs cold whichever way the tap turns. Absolutely my WORST HOTEL STAY in 40 years travelling. Days Inn? - NEVER AGAIN!

No hot shower and when i mentioned this to reception they were dismissive

Stayed here due to joining a cruise the next day, its ideal.
