Clean room with plenty of hot water in the shower and a comfortable bed. But the outstanding feature was the staff not just helpful but friendly and as someone travelling, on this occasion, on my own they were invaluable. Yes, the property did look a little bit rundown and like it could’ve done with a lick of paint in places but that did nothing to detract from my stay. For r a budget friendly break in a long journey I could not ask for anything else.

Perfect and convenient if travelling and in need of a stopover.

It is OK for one night but check it is not the easiest to get to from Stafford

The staff were extremely helpful and professional. Room was great except a dodgy light switch by the bed and no plug sockets by the bed

The best part of my stay was the warm and friendly reception. The bedroom on the other hand was in a sorry state with peeling wallpaper, a window catch that was so loose that a proper seal of the window was not achievable. The bath plug was the wrong size so the water was running away before I'd actually got in. The mixer taps for the shower were badly tarnished and the hot/ cold directions were unreadable

Room was very clean, comfortable temperature and a very friendly welcome from reception. It’s a dated ‘motel’ (motorway hotel) but perfectly adequate. Room had a fusty smell due to age of building I expect, or the very old carpet - window opens to air it off

For an absolute bargain of a nights sleep, the Days Inn was great value, clean and comfortable. I needed a very late check in, after midnight, so it was handy to have a 24/7 reception and to be met with a smile. Room was clean and practical, shower was good. I mean, you wouldn't take the family for a holiday on the M6, but for my needs that night, it was perfect!

Convenient stay to break a trip to Manchester. Quiet room.

The staff were absolutely lovely - so friendly, helpful and they made it seem like we weren't in a budget motorway hotel. The beds were comfortable and the room temperature was just right which is rare. Plus it was half the price of other budget chains. Obviously no onsite new but made to look old pub for breakfast like other hotels but that was ok as there was one at the next motorway junction if you were that keen!

Staff at reception great room at the hotel the electric kettle had a black dirty element unable to use to make a cup of tea. bathroom tiles cracked on floor . Pubic hair in the bath. Tissue holder broken in Bathroom.

Reception Staff member Carol was fantastic . Warm and friendly. Room was adequate but whole place was in need of updating and general maintenance. The window handle was loose so window did not shut tightly, toilet roll holder was hanging looose and one of the heaters in the upstairs corridorwas hanging off
