Spacious apartment with two big rooms as well as a good view of the Alhambra from the window.

It felt like cheating. Our room was not located at what it said in the agent webpage. And there were no staff in the tower we stayed. We were scared in the apartment, which had no windows and walls painted in red. We were the only guests in the tower and the main door of the hotel could not be locked. We all were frightened. The lights in hotel common area were off. It was totally different from the photos and description: no sunlight in, no 24-service in the hotel, the interior not furnished. I would not recommend to others.

Basically it is a flawless experience when I spent two nights in Shine. Room is comfortable,hotel is situated aside the Alhambra,what else can I expect?

The balcony overlooking the pedestrian walk and river was very watchable at night, as was the view up to Al Hambra.

The room, staff, and location were all fantastic. There was a bottle of wine waiting for us, which was lovely after the long trip to get there. Clerk gave me some great recommendations, they were very communicative prior to our arrival and the view from the room was great. Loved the courtyard. Only one issue was the strange light above the door that we had to drape something over so it didn't keep us up all night. Everything else was fantastic. They were even nice enough to hold our bags for us while we toured Alhambra, even though we checked out in the morning.

The hotel is beautiful just in front of Alhambra and very comfortable. Service was excellent. Easy check in. Discount for parking but the area is restricted to cars so be careful. The GPS took us to streets only allowed to taxis

Get the room 302 which is a beautiful penthouse with exclusive lift access. I highly recommend.

Nice small hotel in the heart of Albayzin. No frills but comfortable and quiet. Al the big sites are walkable but lots of hills in the city. Very helpful and friendly staff. Highly recommended

Every time we come to Granada, we stay here. When my wife and I eloped in Granada, it was this hotel that we stayed at. The suite has the most comfortable bed I’ve slept in since being in Europe. Everyone on the staff are professionals and so nice. We will always stay at Hotel Shine each and every time we come to Granada, our home away from home.

Geweldige plek om te verblijven, maar niet voor mensen die slecht ter been zijn. Dat geldt overigens voor het hele gebied. Parkeren is op ca 10 min lopen en een (rol)koffer meenemen is best een avontuur. Wij kozen ervoor om een rugzak te vullen met het hoognodige. Personeel is erg behulpzaam en vriendelijk. De kamer is netjes, maar vertoont wat probleempjes. Zo werkte de regendouche niet en is het toilet erg onhandig geplaatst. De ligging is perfect. Je loopt de antieke voordeur uit en staat direct in de levendigste wijk van Granada. Als we nog een keer naar Granada gaan, komen we hier zeker terug.

Excellent location. The hotel with nice caracter

First Time I taken the time to review a hotel, however I am making an exception for Shine Albayzin. Excellent customer service. Was greeted by Antonio who made sure I had the location of all the best restaurants, tourist attractions and local shopping. Antonio even recommended us a Flamenco show which was excellent. The location of the hotel is excellent. It is located in the heart of the city, shopping and food. Taxi service is easily accessible, however everything is within walking distance. The room was incredibly spacious and included those beautifully accented touches you can only dream of. From the room you can enjoy views of the Alhambra. The bed exceptionally comfortable. Would recommend and will stay in the same room when traveling to Granada again.
