Location is excellent, common kitchen and other amenities were generous, however the room was very dated especially bathroom; a little bit of update will make this property exceptional.

Very historic guesthouse opposite beach. Shared kitchen compound with all facilities.interesting old style guest lounges with interesting reading about the history of the building.supermarket and several eateries an easy walk. An interesting change from everyday motel.

Great place for older property very quite good for a last minute stay. Take own pillows.

The guest house has many walks close by, leave the car behind and go for coffee or ship watching from the lighthouse. My go to place for stress relief. It is always spotlessly clean, too 😊

My wife and I stayed at the guesthouse for the first time last weekend and found it adorable. Everything worked well. Loved the little extra touches the proprietor provides such as a small chocolate on each pillow. Lovely reading room. Especially impressed with the outdoor kitchen and its facilities. Quite unique.

Lovely old style guesthouse, like something out of an Agatha Christie novel. There is an option of many shares spaces to read and relax. Walking distance to the beach and lighthouse. Would love to stay again

Very happy with our brief stay...the room was very clean and had everything required. Personally would like a firmer mattress, but this was our only gripe. We didnt use the lounge or kitchen facilities but they did seem to cater for all needs. Wonderful location and easy walk to cafes and beach.

I’ve been staying at this property since I was a child, since just after the 1984 extension was added. I am amazed at how well maintained everything is given the age of the property. We were really impressed by how clean everything was, the contactless check in worked brilliantly, it was great having access to extras that could just be picked up in the hallway. I enjoy a lovely swim in the pool and we had much fun with the ping pong. I really love the indigenous planting that you are currently doing. A great, relaxed atmosphere in a brilliant location. We hope to return soon 😊
