This review is somewhat of a challenge. The room was very good. The breakfasts were very good. Staff were friendly enough - the staff st the bar always appeared disinterested. The staff for breakfast were very conscientious. There was a serious problem a security matter. At about 1 a.m., a guy was screaming next to my room. He was screaming vile profanity and this was alarming. I complained to staff the next morning and it appeared the matter was taken very seriously. The guy apparently also relieved himself in the hallway. So, my issue was not with the response of the staff but with the security protocols that permit a drunken, out of control person to enter the premises and be right next to my room. He did not have a room at this hotel but apparently had an apartment behind it

Cave: beim Check in wurde uns das bereits bezahlte Zimmer nochmals verrechnet.Ich musste Beweise vorlegen(!), dann wurde das Geld sofort wieder zurück überwiesen. Wir hatten die Tribus Suite, großes Zimmer, modernes großes Bad, leider nur Duschkopf, bewegliche Handbrause wäre schön. Wenn die Fenster zu sind, hört man den Straßenlärm nicht. Dinner in der Bar: o.k.- sehr gut (Hühnchencurry u Panierter Hake mit Chips) Frühstück: großes Buffet, Hot Buffet im Extrabereich wird serviert. Sogar 4 verschiedene Käsesorten werden angeboten. Daniele was the best desk supervisor we’ve ever encountered. She responded to our email when we were arriving later than expected. Then was so kind because she knew it was a long travel day for us! They stop taking orders at the bistro at 9:15 pm but the staff were so kind to take our order right at 9:15 pm because she knew we were weary travelers. The bistro was so convenient with a great menu, especially breakfast. You can alternatively pay for the buffet in the restaurant if you pay ahead. Funny discovery….there is a self serve water station with drinking glasses and prefilled pitchers of water and juices. Those juices are CONCENTRATE that need to have water added! Otherwise VERY strong! 😆 We were made very aware ahead of time that they were in a construction project and that there would be no noise disturbances during the night hours. Wish we could stick around to see the finished product. It’s going to be lovely!

We ate several times at the bar restaurant, and the food was pretty good, and the service was good as well. The breakfast buffet was a little disappointing, as the pancakes were hard and the bacon greasy. The breakfast staff was very accommodating.

Cama, colchao e lençóis confortáveis, quarto bom, chuveiro com jato fraco e o ar condicionado mediano (poderia ser mais potente). Destaque para o cafe da manhã!!! Estacionamento gratuito. Recomendo!!!

A very nice hotel on the outskirts of Galway. Staff was very helpful and friendly. Be warned, some rooms have no AC. Probably not an issue most of the time but we were there during a heat wave.

The bedrooms were of a high standard; spacious, nice decor and full size bathroom. The only things that lowered my soreness the hotel was was undergoing renovations the time we were there

As of May 2026, property was being renovated. We received a remodeled room, which was clean and adequately appointed. We had stayed here about 3 years earlier, so the fact that we returned is a positive. Staff were friendly. The hotel is easy to get to and there is plenty of parking. Its not in the center of town, buy you walk (about 20+ minutes).

The level of customer service is beyond any expectations. Each one of the staff members shows you a smile and are willing to make your stay one to remember. Clean rooms, incredible breakfast. Great memories.
