Great Staff and Nice Breakfast

Tudo bom. Café da manhã delicioso cama confortável, otima roupa de cama e banho. Boa localização. Bebedouros com água a vontade. O único ponto fraco foi a falta do frigobar no quarto, embora tivesse o lugar para colocá-lo, ao abrir a porta estava vazio.

I only stayed one night, but it’s worth it if you’re in that area. I walked to the museum nearby in the park. Breakfast was really good, but the restaurant is OK. Staff were fantastic. I arrived very early, and luckily my room was ready, so they let me check in early.

Our stay was extremely disappointing. The food was below average and overpriced. Although the staff were polite, they refused to provide or even sell cereal for our children outside breakfast hours, despite it being on display in plain view. Our room had a strong mildew odor, what appeared to be black mold stains on the walls, and rough, low-quality sheets. The hotel also felt almost deserted during our stay, with very few other guests that we saw. The hotel advertised a heated pool, but it was far too cold to use. When we returned with takeout one evening, we were not allowed to eat at the outdoor dining area (despite there being no other guests), and were instead directed to a small, stuffy meeting room. We also felt uncomfortable in the surrounding neighborhood. During both days of our stay, there was an intoxicated person sleeping on the sidewalk directly outside the hotel. To top it off, we were charged $50 for a small blood stain on a bedsheet caused by our child’s mosquito bite. Staff entered our room immediately after checkout and then came running after us when we were already in our car to collect the charge. When we spoke with the owner, the only response was that we had signed a contract outlining the policy. We understood the policy but were disappointed that no discretion or goodwill was shown over such a minor, accidental stain. Overall, we left feeling that this hotel was more focused on rigid policies and additional charges than on guest satisfaction. We

Great places near everywhere

Room had cockroaches and mold in the shower. Hard to overlook those two issues. Almost booked a different hotel, but wife convinced me to stick it out. They had a cappuccino machine in the room which was not plugged in and no outlet that I could find, I had to move it to the bathroom to plug it in. Very odd to have amenities with no outlet. Most of the staff was not super friendly, but that could be a general distaste for US travelers right now. Pool looked nice but we did not use it.

Bon petit déjeuner, propre , personnel très gentil

Room was very dirty, furniture was very dated. We had to sign an agreement to not flush any toilet paper. The room had a terrible smell. We were staying at the 2 bedroom room which was very dark. The 4 star rating of this hotel is extremely deceiving. In the US this is likely a 2-star rated hotel at most. Closest equivalent is a Motel 6. We decided not to stay the night

This hotel overall is very nice for business, is centric and easy to move to different locations in San Jose, the gym is a bit small but it works for a quick workout, the breakfast could be better, same options every day but it’s good, the rooms are clean and spacious, undoubtedly a great option in San Jose.
