Customer service was very bad, no one answers the front desk phone at ANY TIME of the day. They are not that busy. When I brought issues to their attention I was answered with excuses with no solution. No one every smiles and it is very obvious that the people who work their are unhappy with their jobs. I was there for 2 and a half weeks it seemed like every time I went to the front desk another guests was complaining about something. Parking is $44 a day. Even thought they give you a keycard to open the gate, it rarely works. I am a frequent traveler and I have never experienced such unapologetic bad customer service. ! day after I left I received a call from the hotel telling me that they charged me for an additional day because the housekeeper told them that I had extended my stay. The housekeeper! When she knocked on my door I told her that I was given a late check out. I had already checked out and had returned to Los Angeles. They never checked. They took the word of the housekeeper who spoke limited English, and charged me for an additional day. Unbelievable!!!

We were returning guests for a family friendly conference. We love this hotel, the hardworking friendly staff and the neighborhood. Can't wait to to back! Fabulous kitchen facilities, yummy breakfast and very comfortable room.

The hotel was very nice and comfortable. The breakfast area was clean, well stocked and organized. My room was clean and quiet. I would recommend it. The hotel shuttle is slow, I had to wait 30 minutes for him to show up. He didn’t make a complete stop. The service could accommodate guest that leave before 5 a.m.

Nice staying here for a night. Room was clean, but small though. Never mind for a night. Breakfast options were good. Only complaint was for car parking fees. Could have been waived for residents.

I am a frequent traveler. This is the first time that I stayed at the Residence Inn Arlington Capital View. Customer service is very poor. The front desk staff are stoic and unfriendly. No one smiles. You get the feeling that everyone hates their job and it shows even with the room maintenance people. I had several issues while staying here for 2 weeks, no one answers the front desk telephone during the day or night. When I mentioned this to them after the 4th day I was told, "well, we are very busy down here with other guests." I guess I was not included in the guest service category. Every time I tried to call the front desk I had to go downstairs where there were no other guest waiting. When I spoke to management about the issues, apologized and offered me a free dinner. They promised that they would tell the front desk to answer. When I called the front desk transferred me to the restaurant, no answer, When I called the front desk and told them what happened they transferred me again with no answer so I tried to call the front desk to tell them never mind, but they didn't answer they just kept transferring me to the restaurant who didn't answer. I went downstairs to complain once again about the poor service at the front desk and told the manager that my time here has been a nightmare. His response, "OK." I did not raise my voice, I was very respectful. This is a terrible place to stay!

The front desk staff were not friendly. No one smiled. I had major problems with getting in and out of the parking lot. No one EVER answers the phone at the front desk. The key to my room did not work and I had to take 2 trips to the front desk to get security to fix the battery. If I were not so busy and overwhelmed by what I came here to do I would have changed hotels. Parking is Very Expensive and it’s hard to find a spot. Laundry is available, but you have to pay $3 for washing, and $3 for drying. Parking is over $40 a day. I will not stay in this hotel ever again and I do not recommend it if you are looking for a nice, peaceful and friendly place to stay.

Room was clean and comfortable, there are a whole kitchen that you can cook, big TV and computer. Breakfast was good, not much choices but enough like all of the other hotels. Airport shuttle is a plus. However, we didn’t like the check in time at 4pm and they didn’t have the room we booked on time. We came early and waited 3hrs but our room was not available at 4pm, we had to change to smaller room bc we didn’t want to wait longer anymore. We were tired and just wanted a room to relax, we left early at 9.38am the next day to the airport. It may be ok with other customers but not ok with us.
