This was a 10/10! The property is in the southwest end of the island, about a 35-40 minute drive to Naxos Town. It is on a sand and gravel road, like much of Naxos, across the street from a lovely inlet. The pool is immaculate and the pool bar is a wonderful amenity. From the moment we walked onto the property until our departure, every single staff member was pleasant and helpful. The beaches nearby- 8-10 minute walk- are gorgeous. Highly recommend Finikas!!

I gave this property 5/5 for the incredible staff and the breathtaking views. The team was genuinely kind, welcoming, and one of the highlights of our stay. Unfortunately, there were several disappointments that future guests should know about. The biggest issue was the location. The hotel is on the quieter side of the island, far from the main attractions and nightlife. More importantly, the hotel’s “private beach” is not suitable for swimming because it is covered with large rocks. If you’re expecting a sandy beach, you’ll be disappointed. The nearest swimmable sandy beach is about a 15-minute walk away, or you’ll need to rent a car and drive to another area. The hotel itself also feels dated. While it is clean, the rooms and bathrooms are noticeably older and could benefit from renovations. I also relied on Expedia’s ratings when booking this property. After sharing my concerns during my stay, I was disappointed that Expedia was unable to offer any meaningful assistance or alternative accommodations. That experience has made me question how much I can rely on their ratings in the future. If you decide to stay here, I strongly recommend renting a car so you can enjoy the island’s beautiful beaches and explore the surrounding towns. Without one, you’ll likely miss out on much of what makes the destination so special.

We were not overly impressed with the hotel because it was too far away from Naxos Hora. We did rent a car and went to different beaches. The beach was not a beach you could swim at as it has these huge flat pieces of rocks in the water. The breakfast was good along with the service. The staff were very nice. They

Wonderful hotel with a great beach. Everything was clean, and the staff members are exceptionally kind, smiling, and helpful. Wow! The pool was wonderful and meticulously well maintained. Excellent breakfast. I highly recommend staying at this hotel.

The staff of this hotel are amazing! Great ideas on things to do and ways to get there. They treat you like family and make everything special! Balcony with the water view was gorgeous. This hotel is in a quiet part of the island. However, it is also very close to two incredible beaches that you have to walk into. I would recommend a car if you are staying at this hotel as it is far from other things. The breakfast is delightful and the staff really care about you and the other guest.

Everything was excellent - and a much needed reprieve from staying in noisy beach-music Agia Anna for 4 nights. We booked this last minute - the room was stunning and clean with a beautiful view (we even received an upgrade), and the pool and bar area was QUIET! There was very light soft music but you could only hear it close to the pool bar - not in our room. We ate a mid 60s retired couple and this suited us perfectly. One of our two AC units stopped working but they addressed it as quickly as they could. The breakfast had plenty of variety and it was a real bonus. We had a car so we drove to other dinner spots (and all over the island). I would highly recommend this hotel - my only regret is that we didn’t book into it sooner.

That said, the seclusion is part of the charm, offering a peaceful escape from busier tourist spots. I highly recommend this hotel for families seeking a calm getaway with great service and tasty food. Just prepare for the distance from main attractions, and you’re in for a relaxing, memorable stay!

Beautiful small hotel in a beautiful location.

We enjoyed our stay in Finikas Hotel in Naxos, it is an amazing hotel and great choice for quiet gateway. All staff members went above and beyond to look after guests. Whilst location is away from Naxos town you can easily hire a car and commute around island. Pool area was spotless and well maintained. Rooms are perfect and so is the room service. We would definitely return to this hotel.

This hotel was much further away from things than we thought but that was on us booking it. They are actually pretty close to Hawaii and Aliko beach but there’s not much else around except for some restaurants (Faros is really good). Pool closes early too. It was pretty windy so we couldn’t enjoy it as much as we liked to but for the price it was worth it. Though the gym was pretty small and the WiFi in the rooms is pretty crummy. Also our sink got clogged and we were only there for three days. The staff was pretty helpful though and booked us dinner reservations and made sure we had transportation to and from the port. If you’re looking for a getaway from everything and to be near nice beaches definitely check this place out.

Amazing property. The remote location to us was a benefit as we wanted peace and quiet which is what we received. Yes you need a car, but driving around the island to find different beaches and restaurants was a bonus. The staff was warm and welcoming. The property was perfectly clean and our room was beautiful. I miss it already. My family had an amazing stay and would return in a heartbeat.
