Breakfast could have been better. Coffee very good

Surprised breakfast was not included with the room rate and disappointed that simple uncooked breakfast like cereals, dried and fresh fruits were unavailable and not on the menu.

Room looked lovely but had a terrible smell. Food in restaurant was very good for dinner and breakfast, although there was some issue with a very long wait to be served, being given out of date menus that were not longer valid. We also organised an event there. It cost 1100 GBP for afternoon tea for 20 people. The quality of food was terrible. It cost 25 GBP a person for a few little cakes and sandwiches which were tasteless and dry - like they had been cooked 2 days before being served. I deserve at least a partial refund.

Breakfast was very tasty but a tad on the bijou in regards of portion size.

Enjoyed our one night stay. Staff was friendly and helpful. We enjoyed the restaurant right next door for breakfast and dinners. Location is nice for walking along the Thames.

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel next to the Thames after attending a lovely family wedding. Great breakfast on the Terrace on a lovely Sunday morning followed by a relaxing walk by the Thames. Highly recommended.

Hotel room was beautifully decorated and very clean and the bed very comfortable. The only thing was that we had a room on the top floor with a small window and it was really warm. We stayed in early May. A fan was provided but it was too noisy to run all night and we were a bit overheated which interrupted sleep. Better to request a room on the lower floors in Spring/Summer. Otherwise fabulous place in beautiful location.

We stayed here after our wedding and the team were amazing. Room was big, clean and lovely. Would 100% recommend staying here.

Reception staff were friendly, & gave me a ground floor room on request. The room was refurbished to a good standard, clean and well appointed with a great shower room. The hotel has good vibes with the Coppa Club & really attentive staff. Thoroughly enjoyed the stay, lovely location for a 24 hour break.

Very good overall. . Like a lot of hotels, the food is good but overpriced. The location and view of the river from some rooms is fabulous. Staff are friendly and try their best for you. Unfortunately I booked last minute in order to get a peaceful night’s sleep and the fire alarm woke the whole hotel at 3am. Great that it worked, but there was no fire! Water had leaked into the sensors somehow (the weather was windy and wet that night) so after we all trooped out of our rooms in pyjamas and overcoats, we were told that there was no need to panic. Couldn’t be helped but very frustrating! Overall it’s worth the fee I paid via Expedia as I’ve stayed a few times now and would definitely recommend it. Make sure you find the best deal possible!

Lovely hotel, excellent service and all staff so friendly and helpful. My husband uses a wheelchair and the hotel was generally pretty wheelchair friendly. No accessible rooms as such with grab rails etc. However, after speaking to a very helpful person at reception before booking, we booked a room with level access. It's a shame there's a huge step up to the shower, so my husband struggled with that. These rooms could be made accessible relatively easily if wanted. If that was done, we'd be happy to return as everything else was fantastic!

Always enjoy staying here but amenities are not quite as good as they used to be

Staff were very professional , unfortunately our room (9) was tired and needed fresh paint month windows and a carpet clean . We had to ask for the room to be cleaned properly .
