A very welcoming place with friendly staff. The room was spacious and had everything that we needed. The food in the restaurant was good and plentiful and well priced. Beautiful location and ideal for walkers in the Ironbridge Gorge

Extremely good stay at The Shakespeare Inn, Coalport. Hotel rooms were immaculate with daily housekeeping and lots of little extras to make you feel at home. On the Thursday we dined in the restaurant where we decided to sit outside so we could enjoy our food with a view. Really beautiful place, nice and quiet, will definitely return!

Great spot right on the river in the valley with great walks around.

The rooms were clean and comfortable and belied the rather inauspicious entrance out the back of the pub. There were little touches (water, coffee/tea and biscuits) that made us feel welcome. The beds were very comfy.

Lovely little place, lovely room with lovely hot shower facilities which is rare to come by. 4 star rating only due to the pub being closed and nothing close locally to get food ect.

Cosy traditional pub with good amenities, a comfortable bed and everything You need for a short stay. Excellent choice of food and drinks and great location.

Room was very clean and cosy. One light not working but not a problem as bedside lamp was more than adequate. Staff very friendly on welcoming us. Good set of complementary toiletries and great selection of tea coffee etc

Cosy tradional pub with good selection of food and drink. Rooms have everything needed for short stay and ideal location for walking and visiting Ironbridge.

We stayed in the family room.The mattress on the bunkbeds were a little uncomfortable, but the room was lovely. Very clean and bright, and we were supplied with fresh towels, bottles of water, biscuits and tea, coffee and hot chocolate everyay. There is a good selection of food served and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The surrounding area is beautiful with lots of things to do close by. I would recommended The Shakespear Inn.

Rooms was as described in info. Plenty of space for a family. The small fridge was a nice addition. Room was above the bar so a little noisy but quietened down after 11.30pm. Room was quite light despite blackout blind on one window. No soap in bathroom but quickly addressed once staff advised. Service was patchy. Not an overly friendly welcome with first request for payment. Ate in the pub but a bit disappointed with service, food and drinks. Good playground and pub garden

This place is a hidden gem. Very comfortable place in a location close to attractions. The room and toilets were very clean. Good amenities. The parking was beside the road, but enough spaces. The only negative thing we felt was the unfriendly nature of the staff.

It's very close to some of the Iron bridge attractions, close to the river Severn, and within fairly easy walking distance to the town centre. The room we had was a family room, so more than big enough for us. There was no air conditioning, but a large ceiling fan kept the room cool . Food in the restaurant was excellent.

Just stayed for one night. Unfortunately they are shut on Wednesday so had to walk to sister pub across the river to get a meal( which was ok) Room was very good and granddaughter loved the playground
