Very quaint and a great value. Family owned and wonderful service.

Ms Colleen was lovely! Really enjoy the intimate setting. Beds were a little too firm but comfortable. Wish there was a lift to get out 7 suitcases to the 4th floor (3rd in UK) but I needed my exercise anyways.

From the moment we arrived at Hedley House it was clear that the staff wanted us to have a great stay. We received a warm welcome at reception and help with parking - a necessity as we had travelled on a motorbike, which we needed to park off the road. Our room was clean and light - lovely big windows, opened to allow fresh air and sun. Lovely big bathroom with a spa bath! Adjacent to the hotel at the back of the property was a spa - room to sit out and a hot tub. There were also treatment rooms and a gym. We made use of this space on Saturday afternoon and although we were the only couple to use it, the staff were more than happy to turn on the tub and open up for us - luxury The breakfast was amazing - freshly cooked and of high quality. We were offered more tea and extra toast! I would definitely recommend the hotel, not just for facilities but mainly for the warm welcome and caring attitude of the staff - nothing was too much trouble and they genuinely wanted us to enjoy our stay

I had a great stay! Location is great!

Theyl et us check in an hour early. It was quiet, loved that we had access after hours if we got in later, and a very easy walk to city center and from the train. The beds were a bit bumpy, but not the worse we had on this trip! It did get a bit warm, and the heavy, unbreathable duvets were a bit hefty for the season, but it was an overall wonderufl stay and we got a much needed good night of sleep after a terrible stay in London.

It was a perfect location - easy walk from the train station, easy walk into town. The room was clean and quiet, and it had a nice, large bathtub

Beautiful room and recently refurbished bathroom, very friendly and helpful staff.

We had a very nice time. We didn’t spend much time in the hotel itself because we were exploring the city and we checked out very early in the morning. The best thing to me was how nice the staff was. Really friendly and helpful. Our rooms were spacious and comfortable. Location was quiet but very convenient, and the private parking was a plus for us.

Staff went over and above to help. Good breakfast (included). Great location.

Overall we had a lovely stay at Headley House Hotel. Hosts friendly and accommodating. Good location and easy walk into town centre.

Very friendly and close to the Minster

Was a lovely place to stay, staff were wonderful, and it was so accessible. There is a little path along side the train station car park that made it so easy. Lovely place I’d stay there again x

Room is clean, tidy and spacious. Kitchen is well equipped.

Really Dated - carpet’s worn right down to holes. I was in a basement room - no phone signal and very poor WiFi. I had to go outside to call. TV eventually worked. Room was really cold and no way to turn it up. Shower had very little pressure. Should’ve paid me to stay there! Outside area is ok to sit but if winter and in the basement rooms - good luck! I booked two rooms and won’t be back!
