Very friendly starf great pub

Lovely room, comfortable bed and the staff were great. Unfortunately my room was overlooking the beer garden and there people out til 00:40 being incredibly loud. Not the best for a good night's sleep

Ticks all the boxes, clean room with everything you need for a great nights sleep, friendly staff, good home cooked reasonably priced food. Would 100% recommend and stay again!

Staff were very welcoming. Good sized room with comfortable bed. Freshly cooked breakfast in the morning

Lovely cottage, i chose to self cater and the cottage had everything i required. A little further from my work but worth it. Not sure if you're aware, bathroom cold tap as a slight leak. Thank you for a comfortable few nights

Hotel in a remote area so nothing within walking distance. Room was cold so I had to activate a portable, plug in heater. Dinner menu was fairly basic...no chicken, fish. Bathroom was small and shaving light not working. Relatively expensive compared to other hotels in the area.

Friendly service

Located in a quiet rural sleepy English village is this charming pub with rooms. The tired looking outside contradicts the nicely decorated room. It's small with a tiny bathroom but had the usual facilities and was clean. The staff were excellent, friendly and helpful. Food was really very good, simple but delicious.

Welcoming and very comfortable. A lovely atmosphere. Delicious brrakfast and evening meals. All cooked to order. I recommend it!

This is a really lovely place to stay. I was given the 2 bedroom cottage next door to the pub, and it is very well catered for. Kitchen, living room, dining area, etc. Bathroom was very clean. Great place for morning walks and dinner at the pub next door. Very quiet and peaceful. Will definitely stay here again.

Very nice village type pub, very nice evening menu, & food pleasant staff, although it says breakfast at 8-30 , they will do an earlier breakfast if you ask, parking may be an issue, as it’s on road, outside the pub , there is a small car park to the rear via a very narrow entrance, otherwise all good,

I cant speak highly enough of our stay at the oak at dewlish. This is classic old village pub, the atmosphere is very local and welcoming. Really nice countryside around. The rooms felt like they were newly refurbished in a nice way and very comfortable. Really nice for the price point. The food is very good, classic pub grub and a good breakfast

The hotel and staff were excellent. The hotel is off the beaten track a little way from Dorchester - but well worth the effort and drive. The staff can’t do enough to make your stay as comfortable as possible. Excellent breakfast also.

Accommodation and breakfast was ok if basic. Staff were friendly.
