Very welcoming host and comfortable room. Excellent food and plenty of choice with large portions. Deep bath with loads of hot water. Take your own toiletries.

We loved our stay at the Britannia Inn. The room was spotless and the bed so comfortable. Ann was so welcoming and friendly which added an extra special touch to the stay. Oh and the food … amazing!! I will be back for sure.

We stayed overnight - Madness @ The Eisteddfod July 2024. The rooms were comfortable, breakfast was delicious. The staff were very friendly & helpful The only downfall for me - there was no shower, only a bath.

Lovely location

An old, character full, hotel with friendly staff. The food was good and plentiful (don't think I managed to finish a meal, there was so much of it!) Although a little dated, it does after all date back to 15th century, it was comfortable. And it is set in spectacular scenery. Would go again.

This was our second visit and would highly recommend it, fantastic location, rooms are comfortable and immaculate, food is absolutely amazing and the staff are wonderful, the owner is fabulous and friendly and wants to do everything she can to make sure your stay is a fantastic experience 🙂

It was just what I needed in a spectacular location and very quiet. It has an interesting history too.

Conveniently located just outside Llangollen with a welcoming family as hosts. Dating back to 13th century, plenty of character though outside could do with a little refreshment. Superb views and good 'pub grub' on offer.

Staff very helpful and friendly, was able to check in early. Rooms very clean and tidy and food was really good.
