This is a very nice resort and the couple now managing it are extremely helpful, nice and professional. Unfortunately we were in Hervey Bay for a funeral, but we found this resort a nice place to stay. It happened to be winter break and it was very hard to find any condos available anywhere, so we were lucky to get this resort. We had to switch condos due to availability issues (not their fault). The excellent managers helped us to switch the afternoon before the funeral rather than the morning of as planned, which we really appreciated. Our first condo was the 3 story condo with 4 bedrooms. It was in outstanding condition and I really enjoyed the outdoor balcony on the second floor. Kitchen was well equipped and all of our needs were met. Our second condo was a 2 story 3 bedroom condo. It was in very good condition but lacked the balcony the 3 story condo had. Also, the kitchen was not quite as well equipped. But it met all our needs. The 3 story condo had central AC whereas the 2 story condo had room air conditioners. Being from America, where these room air conditioners are not really used where we live, we had no idea how to adjust them so the manager came and helped us and later the battery needed to be replaced on a smoke detector and he quickly arrived and replaced it. Whoever hired this couple to manage the place made a great decision as they truly care and take pride in their work!

Hôtel à proximité de la plage. Logement familial avec 2 chambres (lit superposé pour les enfants). Propre. Accueil très sympathique. Pratique car il y a un restaurant et un bar dans l’hotel. Un peu de bruit à l’heure du dîner mais tout redevient calme dès 22h. Parking limité sur place. Mieux vaut arriver tôt. Cuisine du logement bien équipée pour pouvoir prendre ses repas sur place.

We really wished we had more time to stay and enjoy our time at the Quarterdecks Retreat! The set up was lovely - the upstairs had roomy bedrooms and spacious bathrooms, and even a hangout space between them! Downstairs was also a great layout - nice living/dining space, and having an equipped kitchen is something we would have appreciated and used more of if we had had the time. We arrived quite late at night, so unfortunately it was dark, and had to leave fairly early the next day, but we would definitely like to come back and stay for a longer visit another time! The staff were so wonderful at communicating with us and accommodating our late arrival and early checkout. Thank you, Quarterdecks!

Our stay at the Quarterdecks was lovely. Our apartment was big, clean, comfortable and we could do laundry. Gail and Morris were wonderful and we really enjoyed talking to them to learn about them and Hervey Bay. I definitely recommend staying here!!

CONVENIENT, COMFORTABLE, NEAT AND TIDY

Fantastic place to stay, very clean easy access to beaches and pool and spa area is really nice place to chill out.

Fantastic townhouse. Late check-in (notified ahead) was not organised and I was met with absolute rudeness until she realised the mistake was not mine - didn’t admit the error just became overly nice after berating me. Onsite manager is letting the place down.

We stayed in a 3beds villa for a night after a whole day out on the sea whale watching and everyone is happy with the villa. Spacious, clean, and feeling extra safe that it’s located in a gated complex. Staff is so accommodating by providing us with a very easy process for a late check in.

Quiet and convenient for Fraser Island (K'Gari) trip

Fully furnished and confortable. Some furniture could use an update, but overall it's a nice place to stay.
