Third time staying here due to the positive previous experiences. The positive streak continued with a great room featuring a fantastic air-conditioning unit which kept me cool in the June heat. A wonderful workout ensued in their very well-equipped gym set up. This was followed by a powerful shower and I went to dine nearby. Had a great night's sleep before a well-cooked breakfast got my day started perfectly. Can't wait to come back.

The lodge has good rooms with baths, suitable for business travel, or golf days away. The food in the restaurant is pretty good, and all the staff are helpful and attentive. I also used the gym, which has plenty of well-maintained machines and weights.

This is my second stay here after an overnight stay last June. I aim to book here whenever I can going forward as it was as good if not better which was a high bar to begin with. Parking is really convenient. It was a great room with lovely air-conditioning which was required for such a warm, April day. I had a great workout in the well-equipped gym. This was followed with a shower that I had to turn down the pressure on which was a first. There were plenty of dining options nearby and I eventually settled down for a great night's sleep. Breakfast was flawless and I was fully prepared for the work day ahead. Fantastic place.

Always a good stay at this hotel

Staff, very good, room was warm and comfortable. As always anywhere there is a limited meal selection for those with a Vegan diet, just needs plain food available to cater for them

Really good for a basic room, very clean everywhere. Good choice of teas and coffee with plenty of milk and added bonus of hot chocolate and biscuits. Will stay again

Clean room and excellent food

My room was spacious and clean. The bathroom was spotlessly clean - more so than in most hotels I have stayed in. The staff were all very good. The dining area is pleasant. Breakfast choices are adequate and the cost was very reasonable.

Lovely setting for an overnight stay after a 5 hr drive. Great food and lovely staff. Didn’t like the flimsy plastic party glasses in the room. Glass or solid plastic one are more in keeping and more useable.

Ideal stay for a brief stop. Room a little tired Staff were very welcoming. Full English breakfast was excellent

Everyone employee we met, was welcoming, helpful, and looked like they enjoyed working here. Rooms are perfectly adequate and comfy for a short stay, walls a little thin. Aspect for the bar/restaurant is delightful.

Good value stopover before early channel crossing

Quiet, restaurant & bar. Idyllic setting. Only complaint is that the shower is very poor-weak flow (worst I’ve seen)!

Situated within picturesque scenery which instantly relaxes the visitor. The parking area was substantial with spaces very close to the accommodation. I had a lovely ground floor room with air conditioning which was required on such a warm, humid day. I took full advantage of the gym set up they had on site which provided enough equipment to take care of my cardio and weights needs. I explored nearby Maidstone for dining options after refreshing myself under a very powerful shower. A very good night's sleep was obtained which led on to a well=cooked breakfast to start the day off just right. All in all, I was extremely satisfied with my stay here and would pro-actively look to stay here again when in the area.
