We spent a very great time ! The owners are so nice and helpful. We had dinner and it was delicious homemade food . taste the pudding !

We wouldn’t stay again. I felt from the minute we booked we were a hinderance and unimportant. I appreciate it is out of season but we had better service from the pub down the road. Bar closed at 8pm - although not advertised as this - as they weren’t ‘busy’ even though we were there? No interest in what we’d like. Rooms are somewhat musty leading us both to cough all night. Only plus is that the owner managed to source some soya milk for ya from her neighbours ( we offered to bring our own oat milk and was told we’re not allowed but ok to borrow fro Neighbours?!).

Het is een mooie klassieke oude inn gelegen in een klein afgelegen dorp; een paar minuten van de afslag Struan/Calvine van de hoofdweg A9 van Edinburgh-Inverness. Het is hier heel rustig; geen lawaai. Vriendelijke ontvangst. Oud gebouw. Wifi aanwezig. Nette kamer; simpel, maar prima. Schoon. Flesjes water, waterkoker, thee en oploskoffie en wat koekjes op de kamer. Beneden kan je in het restaurant uitstekend en betaalbaar eten en aan de bar nog een drankje doen. Ook het ontbijt was prima verzorgd met veel keus. In de buurt kan je het mooie Blair Castle bezoeken, mode winkelen in "the house of Bruar" en de wandeling maken naar the "falls of Bruar". In the Tay Forrest Park zijn veel wandelingen te maken; bij de soldiers leap; of bij het Queens view visitor centre; ook het enchanted forrest bij Pitlochry vonden we erg mooi.

It was a lovely place to stay. Very peaceful and the food was first class. We would definitely stay here again.

Charming, very clean and well kept Inn. We received excellent attentive service throughout our stay. The food was excellent with a very substantial breakfast offered. The surrounding area is beautiful and peaceful though you do need to drive to participate in any activities other than walks in the countryside. If you’re looking for a peaceful place to rejuvenate, I would highly recommend this property.

Das Struan Inn ist abgelegen, ruhig und hat ein nettes Restaurant mit guter Küche.

Love the rural location - looking out onto open countryside yet only a couple of minutes drive from the A9 / Blair Atholl. Absolutely love the accommodation - spotlessly clean and very comfortable. The breakfast was lovely too - plentiful and very tasty and served in a lovely room overlooking the garden/wildlife. I cannot fault The Struan Inn. I'm so glad I found this absolute gem and I will be returning.

A beautiful looking hotel in a quiet spot but conveniently placed. Room was very comfortable and the bar is very cosy. Lovely friendly staff. We would happily stay again.

Dit kleine hotel ligt in een mooie, rustige omgeving (Tay Forest) en is goed aan te rijden vanaf de A9. Het vriendelijke personeel doet ontvangt je hartelijk en doet zijn best om je thuis te voelen. Wij hebben na een lange autorit genoten van een drankje in de tuin. Het avondmaal beviel ons goed, alleen jammer is dat de bar al om 21:00 dicht ging. Goed geslapen in een comfortabel bed. Het ontbijt wordt geserveerd in de voorkamer, incl. een warm gerecht naar keuze. Na het uitchecken nog een mooie wandeling gemaakt naar de nabijgelegen Falls of Bruar en een bezoekje gebracht aan het House of Bruar shopping centre (met een groot aanbid aan lokale producten).
