We had a great stay. Room was wonderful and staff excellent! Some stairs to get to the hotel but very manageable.

Lovely property. Very modern but full of charm. There are some steps to property but if that isn’t an issue this place is highly recommended.

I’ve never felt so genuinely cared for in a hotel. The service at Grand Sarai Nafplio went beyond exceptional, with thoughtful touches at every turn. I missed breakfast one morning for work; the team noticed and checked with my partner, then offered a take-away breakfast without my asking. When I sat outside after the rain one day, someone noticed i didn't have a cushion on my chair and rushed out with one. And when our adaptor failed, reception hunted down three spares for us. A wonderful hotel with fantastic staff. I couldn’t recommend it highly enough.

Beautiful hotel. Clean, stylish and quiet. 2 wonderful restaurants just steps away. Outstanding breakfast, recommend the avocado toast with egg.

Hotel was very clean and located close to the main shopping area in old town. Staff was friendly and helpful. There were just a few things which kept me from awarding five stars for our stay. First, power outlets in our room were sparse and none were located bedside. The coffee area didn’t have an outlet so we had to set the tray on a luggage rack we placed near an outlet. Since there are no USB ports, the lack of outlets was inconvenient. Second, many reviews raved about their breakfast which we found to be very average and at the low end of what we found at the other hotels we stayed at on our tour of the Peloponnese. The breakfast buffet wasn’t bad, just very average which was surprising based on the reviews I saw. Finally, there is NO parking anywhere near the hotel as it is located off a small alley. As such, be prepared to park many blocks away and hoof your luggage to the hotel. It appears there is a small bar at the hotel but it was never open over our two day stay. However, the location of the hotel is very, very convenient with everything you might want or need within a short walk so if the above items aren’t an issue for you, I would recommend it as a good place to stay.

We enjoyed our stay... the staff was beyond helpful, we got great recommandations for dinner and they assisted us to pay for a parking ticket on a week. We highly recommend this hotel, which is also very charming in the old heart of the city

Nice room with incredible views of the Palamidi fortress, Nafplio old town, and the harbour. Wonderful location in the old town near all the shops, restaurants, beach, and sea wall. Breakfast buffet was also excellent.

We had such a great time at our one night booking at Grand Sarai that we decided to stay another night. So glad we did, the staff is friendly and helpful, the location perfect for trying amazing restaurants and the breakfast is one of the best I’ve ever had at a hotel. I want to go back!

This historic 300-year-old building houses a beautiful hotel with large well-equipped rooms. It is in the heart old town. The free breakfast is varied and delicious. Be aware that permanent parking may be 300 meters away. Parking is a comfortable walk to a flight of steps that leads up to the front door. Alternatively, if you don't mind navigating a narrow street, you can drive up next to the hotel (up a flight of stairs from the front door) to unload your luggage. In either case, hotel staff will gladly help you get your luggage up or down the adjacent stairs.

Loved staying here. The staff is friendly and helpful, and overall the location is great. Would stay here again.

We loved this hotel. It reminded me of the film A Room with a View. Nafplio has lots to offer from fabulous boutique shops to delicious restaurants. The hotel was a peaceful haven after a busy day. The staff were charming and helpful. We loved it.
