The host Vivienne is very friendly and passionate even before we arrived in her guest house, her welcoming email and hosting certainly relieved our anxiety about visiting/staying a new place. The room and dining area were so lovely and clean, we loved its comfortable bed and elegant style. Breakfast was fantastic as well. Overall it was a great experience, thank you:)

1.Traffic is very convenience.Always has bus to go everywhere. 2.Hostess Was very humorous and kind. 3.BrRajasthan is rich.

Great place to stay…way nicer than we expected. Host was also amazing and gave us great tips for getting around and things to do nearby. I would stay here again in a second…wouldn’t even look elsewhere.

Das Sherwood Guest House ist die perfekte Unterkunft für einen Städtetrip nach Edinburgh! Das Guest House ist super gelegen mit einer sehr guten Busanbindung überall hin. Die Zimmer sind sauber und schön eingerichtet. Das Frühstücksbüffet ist frisch und lecker. Das Highlight des Guest Houses ist aber Besitzerin Vivienne! Super freundlich und hilfsbereit!

Vi boede på et fint værelse med eget bad, rengøringen var god og morgenmaden over forventning. Vores værtinde var skøn, vittig og hjælpsom. Bussen holder detsuden lige ude foran døren, det bliver ikke nemmere. Varmeste anbefaling herfra.

The host Vivian was amazing! So friendly and welcoming. Room was clean and comfortable breakfast was yummy with a good variety.. would definitely recommend !

We had such a wonderful stay at Sheerwood Guesthouse in Edinburgh. The room was small but very cozy, spotlessly clean, and so thoughtfully equipped — even with water and snacks waiting for us. Breakfast was a lovely continental spread, fresh and plentiful. Vivienne was a fantastic host, welcoming and attentive, which made the whole experience even more special. The atmosphere of the guesthouse reminded me of one of those perfect hotels in an Agatha Christie novel — except without the horror and murder, of course! Both the room and the guesthouse overall felt carefully designed and exceptionally well equipped. I would happily come back again and again. Notre hôte Vivienne a ete adorable avec nous dès notre arrivée. La chambre, bien que petite, est tout confort et très propre. Nous étions bien situés pour visiter à pied Edimbourg.

Very, very friendly hostess - Vivianne! Great breakfast, everything you could ask for (except for hot food). Great fruit, bread, eggs, sweet rolls, juices yoghurt, et.c. Very personal and informative. Rooms are a little small (not uncommon). Very clean. The only negative is the location even though the bus runs just outside and comes often. (A little bit too far to walk if you wanna walk back and forth one/twice a day). But again, easy with the bus. I would definitely go back, thank you Vivs!!! <3 /The Swedes

Hyggeligt sted med varieret morgenmad og en indlevende og hjælpsom vært - Vivienne - 30 minutters gang til Edinburgh Centrum og busser lige uden for døren så det er nemt at komme til og fra. Gode senge og fin generel- og rengøringsstand

Lovely rooms, great carpet floor. Could easily lie completely flat on that one. Nice and easy high quality breakfast. High ceilings. Small bathroom, but nice and modern. Housekeeping was good. Vivienne was a great host. She greeted us with arms wide open. I give it five stars. Or maybe 10/10. That is one way to write it also.

Vivienne’s guest house is perfection. Our family loved the decor, the amenities and the breakfast. It was very easy to visit Edinburgh from this location. Vivienne is so friendly and welcoming.
