Amazing property. The views are breathtaking and the customer service is unmatched. Food was delicious and rooms were clean.

Welcoming atmosphere, great, comfortable rooms, nice pool, Very beautiful views, all around the property, nice coffee farm Trail. We were super pleased all around. Highly recommended!

Beautiful resort , with a great view i would stay again. The downside was we were not explained how the room service works and we have all types of insect that were affecting the quality of our stay. The staff was really nice

Beautiful little hotel upon a mountain side. Staff was excellent and the grounds were very pretty. Only downside was it took 10 to 20 minutes to get down to the main highway and tour companies would not pick you up from there. You have to hire their shuttle to take you or an Uber is much cheaper.

The hotel was very nice and we had a great time during our stay. Staff was amazing, very friendly and always welcoming. The food was good too. I will say that if you're planning on staying at this hotel your best bet is to rent a car. Everything is far away. We loved walking and unfortunately we couldn't do any of that around the hotel because there's no sidewalks to walk offsite. The nearest attraction that we wanted to see was the Volcan Poas, but it was closed due to being active. So, check before you go. The beaches were also far away, we had to drive 3 hrs to get to a beach. Pros. Clean hotel, super friendly staff, peaceful environment Cons.. Far from the big cities and major attractions

Staff was friendly, cute small hotel away from the City, the no ac part caught me by surprised but wasn't all to bad, at night gets a little cold and early morning as well, restaurant waiter Alex was the MAN! HE SAFED OUR VACATION AND SERVE US FIRE FOOD FROM THE HOTEL, WILL DEF STAY AGAIN IF POSSIBLE

Absolutely beautiful property. Stunning views from pretty much every room. Our room has the mountain view. Breathtaking. Pool was small but perfect size since the hotel wasn't packed. Food was excellent! Room service excellent! Staff was excellent! Loved this place!

Absolutely beautiful place! The airport shuttle is very convenient.

The property was beautiful and clean. The only downfall was the lack of air conditioning. We did not think to ask if they had air conditioning because we took it for granted that they had air. We’ve never been anywhere without air conditioning. The other downfall was the shower. It was horrible. There was no pressure at all. It took you a good hour to rinse off.

It was a really nice place

It was only for one night but it was great. Beds are very comfortable, place is very nice and chic. Gardens are gorgeous and the views! The restaurant has excellent food and service as well. I would only improve their old fashions! Everyone was very very nice.

The manager was going to upgrade us to another room, but it was too far for me to walk with my sciatica. The hotel property was beautiful with a lovely view overlooking San Jose. Nice pool and landscaping! Delicious food for dinner and breakfast and reasonably priced.

No AC, no hot water in the shower

This hotel was so nice for a couple of days prior to leaving to come back home in Canada. People were so friendly and the Place was very clean with nice property.

Beautiful property . Very well maintained . Staff is amazing . The view is fantastic yet only 20 minutes to the airport . It was so convenient that the shuttle was available for pick up and drop off to the airport and car rental . Breakfast included was great . They even packed up breakfast to go for us as we had to leave for the airport 5am . Jorge our server / bartender was fantastic . Great conversations and great food and drinks . This is a great location to start your adventure of Beautiful Costa Rica.

My partner and I stayed at Buena Vista Chic Hotel for one night, and the experience was truly exceptional thanks to the incredible staff. From the moment we arrived, the front desk worker welcomed us with such warmth and professionalism. He offered us cold drinks and refreshing wet towels, making us feel instantly relaxed and cared for. The excellent service continued with the two male staff members from the restaurant, who went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. We had an early flight the next morning and wouldn’t be able to enjoy the hotel’s breakfast. Without hesitation, they packed us a to-go breakfast so we wouldn’t miss out. We opened our bags at the airport and were delighted to enjoy a thoughtfully prepared meal before our flight—such a simple gesture that made a big impact. The team at Buena Vista Chic Hotel truly made our short stay memorable with their kindness, attention to detail, and genuine hospitality. We can’t wait to return!
