We booked two family rooms ( for 6 peoples) and called in advance to inform that we need to stay on the same floor. Staff said they have a remark, but they didn’t arranged and not available. Rooms are good.But only the sofa double bed very uncomfortable. We enjoyed the slider in the swimming pool. But the hot top water are very dirty and you can smell the water was too irritating. Breakfast was good. Pancake machine can make a great pancake by yourself. We enjoy the stay.

Great hotel and dinning for our ATV trip across NFLD. Laundry was a bonus and really great after a few dusty days on the trail!

Good hotel situated minutes away from the airport.

In the morning, the sun comes through the day time curtains and there are no other options to block the sun from shining into the room.

It was a Holiday Inn Express when we booked it, but changed to Horizons a week or two before we got there. The breakfast was still Holiday Inn Express quality, and the kids loved the water slide.

They didn't recognize that I paid for the room with Expedia and charged my roommate the fee when she arrived ahead of me.

Friendly staff! Breakfast was nice. They offered real dishes and utensils. Very nice!

We flew into Deer Lake and stayed at this hotel for one night prior to carrying on to Gros Morne. This hotel was a pleasant surprise! The beds were so comfortable, the pillows were perfect! It was quiet even with our room across from the elevator. The breakfast in the morning was complimentary and had a lot of options! But the freshly baked cookies were definitely our favourites! They were putting in new carpets in the hallways, but the work finished at a respectable time so didn’t affect our stay. My kids loved the pool and slide. Definitely wish all Holiday Inns were like this one!!
