Very basic accommodation, ensuite was a little cramped. Breakfast and service was very good so value for money.

Room was basic but perfectly usable, with a TV inc DVD, sink, hanging space, chair, lamp and bedside tables. Oh and a bed! Lol Nice reception, very nice eating area and fabulous breakfast!

Second stay at this property and used it as a base to travel into London. Warm welcome as always, very clean room, comfortable bed and lovely breakfast. The staff are particularly helpful and friendly which makes the stay so much better. Great value for money and only a 10 minute walk to the train station and town centre. Would not hesitate to stay again.

Lovely little B&B with private off road car park and walking distance to Bedford station. Simple manned check-in, nice room, comfy bed, small en-suite and a nice simple breakfast the next day

Poor little chap seemed to be running the whole place alone. Breakfast was a bit naff but free. Worth it for a cheap no frills night.

I arrived, with what I think was the owner who was very miserable and not very welcoming, I got into my room which was ok but very very cold the second night I asked for the heating to be turned on to the disappointment of again what I think was the owner and that did not happen for another hour. The shower was dreadful and the hot water turned into very cold water after only a few minutes which did not help as the room was freezing. I decided to not stay the second night and stopped somewhere else as it was like sleeping outside. The bar facilities was dreadful no soft drinks at all. I would not recommend this hotel to anybody.

Breakfast and service was top class. Value was amazing, some of the bedding a bit stale and a little noisy if you have a room close to the main road.

Very friendly and helpful staff who were always on hand to be of service. The breakfast was tasty and well presented. We were made to feel very welcome and nothing was too much trouble.

Fire alarm went off at 1am for not explained reason. Rooms were very basic, no air conditioning and old, internet was intermittent and bathrooms were shared. Having said the breakfast was passable.

Decent sized room. Clean. Breakfast was good. Quiet area.
