The Inn was comfortable and there's a car park nearby. There's a pub at the ground floor and another one opposite the inn. A supermarket is about 100-200 feet away so it's quite convenient. You can reach southern Devon's costal attraction within an hour's (by car). A natural reserve is also very close.

Room was fine staff very helpful

This is a period building, it has its restrictions what can be changed to the building, as it quite poss a listed building. Low beams in the Bar etc. Very authentic. Food brilliant. Bar atmosphere great. Hosts ideal company. Unfortunately the carpet up the stairs & the rooms really need some TLC. The rooms also need some £ spent on them to look a bit more comfortable. That said the rooms & Hotel were clean etc. Just a mention this place loves dogs.

The room was nice, and the hospitality was excellent from the landlady. Breakfast was a really welcome treat, and I was happy that it was included in the good value price I paid. Thanks

Excellent hosts. Nothing was too much trouble for them and went out of their way to allow seven extra people to dine with us, even though we hadn't booked in for a meal. Food was great and thoroughly enjoyed by all.

Very friendly welcome snd nice homecooked food. It is a very old building but as comfortable as is possible.

Excellent breakfast. Lovely old Inn but the old solid walls and single glazed windows aren’t good at keeping the heat in.

Could not wish for more. Lovely village, perfect old world setting and just a few miles from the main road. An historic pub that matches it's promise in every way. Very friendly staff and welcoming locals. Nice choices at breakfast too.

Very welcoming staff, breakfast was delicious and sets you up for the day. We didn’t eat our evening meal at the hotel, but the choices looked very good.

Pity about no parking as the long stay cost of parking overnight was £10 and you had to pay again at 9 am.
