Un grand coup de cœur pour cet hôtel, personnel très accueillant, chambre impeccable, très bonne literie. Je recommande sans hésiter. Nous reviendrons certainement.

The breakfast was fine. Staff were pleasant. Only complaint was that we didn’t get the room that we paid for. I paid for a terrace and mountain view but got a small window overlooking an inner courtyard.

The property was clean and well maintained. The breakfast and dinner we had was delicious and the presentation of the plated dinner was like a four star restaurant. There is nothing else to do in and around the property, but if you’re content to remain on the property that is ok. The views are spectacular as the property is on the top of a mountain.

We had a wonderful three nights in the mountain facing rooms. Added bonus of being able to watch the sun rise from the room. Friendly staff provided an excellent meal on the first evening. Breakfast choices were many and varied; we certainly set off each day well filled. The village itself was great for wandering around and the castle of course was the highlight. Slightly scared at first at the narrow entrance into the village in our hire car, but it's actually OK. Plenty of room. Parking easy outside. We found plenty to do in the area - could have stayed for longer. Thank you!

Very clean rooms and the whole hotel is in great condition. Marvao is a very special and nice village within an old fortress on top of a mountain about 840 meters over the sea level. Owners and staff are very friendly and welcoming. We had a lovely stay!

We found this hotel to be very nice. While the room was small it was clean and comfortable and met our needs perfectly. The staff was lovely and had a nice breakfast.

Absolutely loved our stay at Hotel Dom Manual. This was in the most stunning locations I've ever seen. The couple running the hotel were beyond kind and lovely. Do not miss this stop.

A beautiful hotel in an amazing village. Breakfast was also great with pancakes and scrambled egg included plus the normal pastries, bread, yoghurt, cheese, meat and fruit! We managed to park right outside the hotel (4 spaces) but there is also a public car park in the same area. A walk around the walls and castle of Marvão is thoroughly recommended - marvellous 360 views!

It was absolutely fabulous. The drive up the mountain - breathtaking.

Great family run hotel. Staff was friendly and knowledgeable always happy to help and advise. The bed was extremely comfortable and it was a very relaxing and comfortable time away for us. We would highly recommend and definitely come back for another visit
