Good hotel location

This location was very easy check in. We had a car rental and they have secure parking in the back for a small fee which worked for our stay. The room was clean and spacious which was a nice change since most rooms are small here in Europe. We did not use the breakfast option since we felt it was a bit pricey but opted to go to the market to buy some items. They had a small refrigerator and coffee pot with cream & sugar was nice. Overall our stay was great and may return again if in the area.

Good location within walking distance of the center of Mons, with easy parking.

Too much road noise gave to terrible nights sleep

Friendly staff.

Small privately run hotel. Happy to look after you but didn't clean the room on one day which was the only disappointment. Breakfast was fine and cooked eggs to your request as well as the usual continental. Coffee machine stayed on all the time which was very useful.

Friendly and helpful staff, close to centre. Excel value for money.

This is great hotel close to the city centre and the mons memorial museum all within easy walking distance. That from a guy who injured his leg and was in a leg brace most of the trip. The best bit is you can park your car for free directly outside of it. That save over 40€ on equivalent nearby hotels. The room and a kettle and tea coffee also but a fridge is an extra bonus to pick up cold beers etc from cheap nearby shops. A couple of nice pubs on route to city centre also. Piece of advice is avoid the restaurant Henri on route to centre. Cash only and it turns you’re food into something you felt was microwaved, packet frozen chips etc. head onto city centre where there’s a great Pizzeria on the left just before the square. Sorry can’t remember its name.

Trouble free overnight stop. Well placed for the town centre. Good breakfast. Parking was easy.

Amazing, very clean and friendly staff

It would have been better if the people at the St. James didn't accept reservations on the weekend, when they are closed It took us about 2 hours to find the hotel, and when we did, found out that they are not open on the weekend.So I have to wonder why they accepted a reservation they had no intention of fulfilling. took us another few hours to find a place to sleep other than our car. I'd give the St. James a negative rating but I can't see how to do that.

Exceptional staff - super helpful and flexible. Charming non-chain bed and breakfast less than 10 mins walk from the center of Mons.

A great spot for exploring Mons - easy to find, easy to park, clean and well equipped, and in walking distance of the Grand Place too. Recommended

The staff was fabolous. Nice location and breakfast

I had never to Belgium and I only had two evenings in Mons, naturally I wanted a good place to eat in the evenings. Nicholas, was working on the day of my check-in and he was really awesome. Very respectful and eager to help. He gave me a few of his favorite places to eat and I really enjoyed myself at Le Bailey. Nicholas made the stat complete for me. He was professional and always willing to help.

This is a lovely hotel the rooms are very comfortable. The breakfast was really good Excellent value for money.

Only issue was proximity to hospital meant ambulances were common

Nice boutique hotel just outside the centre with contemporary furnishings. Useful and free parking at & around the hotel.

Quiet peaceful, friendly staff, clean rooms. Ideal place :)

I don't expect the moon for Euro 85 plus taxes but having stayed in five hotels on this trip of about the same cost, this was the only one that had no air conditioning, no safe, no free bottle of water to drink through the night, no tea or coffee maker for the morning. Then we were told breakfast was 0700 to 10am for 12 Euros extra but this was not available on the day until 8am. (it was a Sunday in fairness) but we were up and gone early. To be fair, the room was clean and the bed very comfortable. I shudder at sounding petty but charge me 87 Euros and give me a couple of bottles of water.
