I do not stay at the property for scenery, as Timmins is town of hardworking people with one main road with many hotels, none of which are ‘scenic’. Microtel is great for its comfortable rooms, easy parking, great breakfast and welcoming staff. It’s on the west edge of town, so if you need to head west early down 144 or towards Chapleau or Wawa, I highly recommend it.

Was good. Should have all ceramic floor when having a room with a pet.

The staff and the service at this property was excellent. We had an issue with the thermostat in our room when we arrived and they moved us to another room immediately.

Approx 1130am, we asked cleaning staff for 30 mins until we left to clean room, lasy mentioned that our room was the last one she has to do. Few mins later i hear her knock on another door and say housekeeping. I asked her why she lied about our room being the last one, she refuaed to answer.

Rooms are a bit small bit clean and comfy and the staff are wonderful

Great location. Nice rooms great pool hot tub and steam room. Found the pool area to be overly crazy and could have used a little supervision with amount of children using the area. Made it difficult to enjoy the area which was the reasin we selected this hotel. :(

Its out of the centre of town so it’s quiet and next to Walmart.
