Great facility and location. Everything I wanted and expected.

the included breakfast was not good, eggs/sausage/potatoes were barely warm. muffins seemed a bit doughy. no one cleaning up tables after use. Parking was tight due to 2 vehicles taking up 12 parking spaces (6 spaces each) for the weekend.

Liked the warm welcome and room was very nice. Enjoyed the greeting on the television screen Disliked the coffee machine/maker as it's a very poor design and the restroom could use an exhaust fan

Hotel was nice; staff was great. I don't advise going through Expedia; go directly through the hotel itself.

Work trip

Bathroom: shower curtain doesn't close, shower head very hard to adjust, toilet makes screaming noise when flushed. Snack suite: it would be nice to be able to use cash.

So we stayed 2 nights, the room was great except for the fact the tub/showrr didnt completely stop the water from going to the tub while in shower mode. Then the toilet everytime you flushed, it made a horrible screaming sound for at leadt a minute after flushing. Also we needed a plunger at one point, and the staff couldnt find it. It took about an hour and a half before they finally called saying they found it. As a family of 4 with 2 small children, not having a toilet was annoying. We had to go to the lobby to use the restroom. It was the most disappointing part of our trip. Everything else was great!

I’m sure its unchangeable, but I would have liked to have checked in early, but that was not allowed

The staff was great, but the room had some issues. The bathroom door wouldn't latch. Also the shower caulk definitely needs replaced/or cleaned better. The office chair wanted to tip over if you tried to sit back. The room and bed were very comfortable though. This is the perfect place for us to stay at so I hope they take care these issues.

Very nice, clean hotel in a quiet location. Hearty breakfast and very kind and friendly staff. Recommended for Iowa City visitors!

Safe and comfortable

Staff was very nice. There was a wonderful selection for morning breakfast. Our hotel choice for our visits to Iowa City.

Carpeted floors, quiet, near the river and walking path.

The rooms were clean and beds were comfortable.

The room was clean and atmosphere nice.

We like the convenience of location, only a few minutes away from family members. What we didn’t like was we were given the wrong room from what we requested & paid for. Once it was corrected, we were placed in a room at the 4th floor where wallpaper in the hallway is peeling off and one of the lamp shades were damaged with rips. Not what we expected and definitely have not experienced before.
