A return stay at the hotel, a reliable and friendly team. Only downside is overpriced breakfast.

Old building in the centre with enough space and parking right next to the building. Best breakfast we ever had in ** hotel ! Very nice common area and very helpful staff. This was our third stay in Troyes and by far the most enjoyable

Beautiful old property in the medieval area of Troyes. Short walk to everything you need. Beds are a little on the hard side but staff are brilliant; friendly and helpful.

Probably the friendliest, most chilled hotel I've ever stayed in. Staff couldn't do enough for you and always very welcoming. The hotel is a beautiful, 16th century building in the old town centre, which is amazing. I was in a room which faced to road so, sometimes, it could be rather noisy, but the streets are very narrow and it's an old building. Only issue I had was a lack of hot water in the evening but it wasn't a major problem. A 2 star hotel which makes up for it in many other ways.

We really enjoyed our stay. We were visiting Troyes to connect with old friends and the location was ideal as it was a short walk to the train station and all of the places we wanted to visit in town. While the hotel is fairly basic, the room was large and clean.

Hotel has a great location for the centre. A bit of a squeeze for breakfast, get in early. Secure parking great. Great service and a good staff team..

Friendly helpful staff , location excellent. Room was clean and very adequate . Only issue was it was extremely hot due to weather and due to a smallish room in an old building there was rest bite from the heat even with the fans in the room . Nice breakfast !

Quirky hotel in fantastic location, right in the centre. Lots of great bars and restaurants on the doorstep. Room clean and tidy, we needed dog friendly. Would have been nice to of had a kettle in room. Hallway could do with a refresh. Lovely welcoming and helpful staff.

Town centre close and very pretty - The bed was clean and confortable - no air con , threadbare carpets , no parking as advertised, Repeated noise and trouble in the street outside from before midnight until 3.45 in the morning / if it had been possible to have left we would have done so . Not the best choice we have made

The hotel is nestled in the old town, down a narrow side street and parking is opposite the hotel behind some big automatically controlled gates. Check-in was quick and easy. The hotel retains a lot of the original features of the property, which means that nothing is vertical or flat (and it almost catapults you back in time). Room 1 was spacious, with a 4-poster bed, bedside drawers, large table, 5 period chairs, wooden chest, large wardrobe and large stone fireplace. It also had an old walk-in wardrobe, separate toilet and bathroom. The toilet and bathroom were very modern, with double wash basins and double size shower. Continental breakfast was simple and very nice with a good selection of meats and cheeses as well as bread, croissants and various jams. Fruit juices and hot drinks were also available. Being located in the Old Town it was very easy to stroll to the bars, restaurants, market, shops and churches.

Rather disappointed with the 2 rooms on the second floor. Very tired decor and basic furniture. Toilet area very narrow and the shower took ages to warm up then it was too hot and wouldn't cool down. Stair areas quite scruffy with several carpet stains. Breakfast was quite good. Very well located for the town centre and a nice looking building. Secure parking was much appreciated.

The location of this hotel is amazing, in the heart of the old town with easy access to restaurants and sights. Pierre at the front desk was incredibly helpful.

This hotel is fabulous we loved it, very charming 17thc. Really nice breakfast and lovely staff right in the heart of Troyes

A gem of a hotel - great character and super location.

Marvellous medieval building making the hotel quirky and interesting. Superb location in the heart of the old town. Melanie a fantastic member of staff who helped with our parking arrangements. Would visit again.

It would be better if coffee machine and fridge is provided in room.

Old fashioned style of Hotel in the centre of the city. Classic timber frame construction. Great to see these older properties being reused rather than the new style of box Hotel on the outskirts. Secure parking important with a classic car. Great staff spoke excellent English. Good Breakfast is available for a great start to a day.
