Wonderful spot and view of the see from our hotel room. The family room was big and child-welcomed. The bathroom on the other side was not so equipped for younger children. AC and an open window to the balcony was the only way to cool down the room, however, no anti-insect-web was kind of the down side. Breakfast buffet has lots of choices on Chinese-cuisine, however, we couldn´t found any simple yogurt. The staffs at the reception were friendly and helpful.

This hotel was generally a pretty awful beach resort. The beach was quite small, and the property itself is quite tired and in need of serious updates. If you're looking for a cheap getaway with the family, this will fit the bill. But do not go in expecting five star service, and or refined experience. It's a hotel that's old and is tired.

Went in the off season but can tell the workers have a tough job, but are doing great.

Interesting stay. A big resort with recreational activities. It is a bit dated but clean and neat. Easy to reach and travel to surrounding attractions.

Slightly faded and worn but still very comfortable and clean. Helpful and friendly staff and both the swimming pool and private beach are highlights. The only major negative is the deer enclosure, which is cruel to the animals and severely damages the hotel’s eco and sustainability credentials

The property is very tired and not maintained well. It's clean and tidy and the staff are lovely but it needs renovation.

Our stay was a mixed experience. The highlight was definitely the room, which was perfect for families with kids. The children's themes and ocean images created a fun and engaging atmosphere that our little ones absolutely loved. However, the breakfast was a bit disappointing. There were not many options available, and the quality of the food was not up to par with what we expected from a hotel of this caliber. Additionally, I would recommend the hotel consider catering more to non-Chinese clientele. Specifically, it would be great if they could offer more Muslim-friendly food options to accommodate guests with dietary restrictions. This would make the stay more enjoyable and inclusive for a wider range of visitors. Overall, while the room was fantastic for families, there is definitely room for improvement in terms of breakfast variety and inclusivity in the food options.

Complicate to find the exit

Convenient location. However, the place is quite dated. There is an amazing mall in the basement and nobody goes there. We went on a weekday so it was amazing value

The property is a bite raw but is spacious, there are many facilities for holidayers.

Howard Beach Resort cannot be deemed a 5 Star resort, it's closer to 3.5 stars in western terms. The decor is outdated throughout the complex and in need of a revamp but overall it's comfortable enough. The games room is good but the table tennis and snooker tables are worn but just about useable. The "Gym" equipment need updating with weights that are rusty and seen better days. The pizzas on offer aren't worth the money you pay they are frozen variety and better off getting the burger option if your inclined for food. The shopping complex is good but very little in the way of vendors you'd actually visit. The games and arcade is probably the only thing that is top notch as well as the beach. Overall the resort would is ok but I wouldn't recommend it if you're thinking 5 Star resort.

Very clean. Excellent amenities and beach access. Great for kids. The only negative comment is that the western style breakfast was lacking - No proper toaster and the bacon and sausages were soaking in water or brine. Other than that our 5 night stay was fantastic.

The positives are the staff, room service, breakfast, pool and beach access. The property is well worn and is in need of renovating. I suspect the best times were in the 70s and 80s.

It is not a 5 star hotel. Overall space is generous. Lots of fun there, places to go, lots of parking space and starbuck is conveniently located!
