The room is basic but for that price what do you expect. Hotel location is excellent, 5 minutes walk from the tube station. Good continental breakfast is served in the morning. Tea and coffee is freely available in the kitchen area whole day, just help yourself. Check-in time is 2pm to 4pm, a bit short and early but I understand one could request later check-in

Staff is nice .. Tho..when I was there..the gas is out of order, so they can only offer egg n toast as breakfast

Hotel is small and the the value is lower what I paied.

It takes around 20 mins to Skylark B&B from LHR airport, easy to go. Right choice if you need to take early flight.

The building is old and its room is small, but its location is convenient.

On the negative side, the room was too small and very basic, the bed and the pillows were of low standards. The noise was also high and I could hear people talking outside the room. On the positive side, staff was is friendly and helpful. The shared dining area where tea/coffee is available all the time free of charge is wonderful. The garden is also very nice and relaxing. Heathrow Airport is only 2 stops away and there is also a lot of restaurants and shops in the area. Overall, this is a good place with value for money. If only the rooms were better equipped I would give then 10/10.

It was more or less as expected, a family-run place, B&B than hotel or “motel, with guests being allowed to bring and store their own food aside from the breakfast provided by the facility. The staff members were beyond helpful; I felt welcomed and cared for literally from the moment I arrived, dragging myself from Heathrow after a bumpy nonstop flight, until the moment I left. They made recommendations for places to go and visit based on my interests and my stories about where I’d already gone; suggestions for local places to eat, drink and socialize; and best of all were very knowledgeable about the local public transportation systems and the best ways to get about. The accommodations were pretty much all I needed and expected; comfortable when I wanted to be by myself, and no unnecessary frills or extra details which often (in my experience, anyway) serve little purpose or have any actual value except to pad the bill. I would make only one small suggestion: The owners might want to look into installing ceiling fans in the common areas in the back, if possible, which were glass-enclosed and got considerably less comfortable in the heat of the day; I had them in my home for similar purposes in a similar setting, and they did wonders! In closing, I cannot but give my highest personal recommendations for this venue — AAA+++!!! I’ll never forget my experience, and the wonderful contribution they made to a trip of a lifetime!

Great for access off the M4 and tube. A bit warm in the room during the heatwave as no external window.

Very easy check in, friendly staff gave me all the information I needed then showed me to my room. Room and bathroom were spotless, very comfortable bed. Breakfast was good value for money, they didn’t mind my daughter having one even though she hadn’t paid, in fact they insisted she have one. Garden area was ideal in the hot weather to sit out early evening and for breakfast. Parking was free, always a bonus. Very friendly staff always willing to help. Short walk to nearest pub and shops. Overall a great value for money B&B. We would use again.

The bedroom was ideally situated on the ground floor and a pleasant room, However there was disturbance throughout the night from the front door buzzer and noise from the reception,which unfortunately didn't aide a restful night's sleep

Room was very clean, plenty of new towels and clean sheets. Personnel super friendly and helpful, always available if you needed anything. The room for 3 was very small, and no air con. Because of the out of the ordinary very high temperature of these days, not having air con and having the possibility to open the window only partially (giving no air whatsoever), it was truly unpleasant to sleep in. I eventually ended up sleeping in my car because it was literally not possible to sleep in that room without fainting. I know it’s not the hotel’s fault, but clearly it affected the overall experience.

Great place to stay , clean tidy , welcoming and friendly staff and host. Walking distance to local shopping and food areas and close to airport and theme park. Great breakfast selection and spacious rooms. Free included parking

Staff are very friendly and accommodating, have stayed before and will definitely be staying again
