Courteous and friendly staff. Clean hotel with a restaurant and pool. Close to the beach and a good variety of restaurants.

Great customer service, room kept clean, staff were excellent, and restaurant service was top notch. Jennifer and Donald were exceptional.

Brightly decorated, warm and friendly staff and good location not far to walk to the beach. Room was comfortable and clean. Food was good with attentive and generous service in the restaurant for both dinner and breakfast. Our breakfast server Donald went the extra mile to ensure we had what we needed and to share local information. We wanted to stay in a locally owned small hotel rather than a big flashy chain in this place was great

We are staying for one night before we head over to the Westin. Dixon has been awesome. He takes great care of you. He is the one who checked us in, and waited on us at dinner. We ended up ordering a Pizza. It was very, very good, and I eat a lot of Pizza. I never expected to get a Pizza this good in Costa Rica. The drinks were good also. $10 for 2 at happy hour and they didn't skimp on the booze. Rooms are basic, but clean. That's all I need. Saved a lot of money staying here for one night and we had a awesome time.

Food portions were small for what we paid for. Both for the continental breakfast as well as paid meals for dinner/lunch. Pool was poorly kept and overhyped in photos. Still, service was itself good and always kind. Perfectly fine, probably wouldn’t stay again though.

The hotel is simple with lovely landscaping. The staff are all great people, very friendly and engaging. In particular Donald in the restaurant. Also Jennifer at the front desk, who made sure any issues were dealt with promptly. The groundskeeper whose name I do not remember is a super friendly gentleman. The rooms were cleaned daily, the cleaning staff are efficient and friendly as well. We will definitely return to this hotel the next time we come to this area. This hotel is a very good value as well. We spent two weeks here. Thanks to all you folks at Conchal hotel for making our stay very enjoyable.

Good price

Room was quite small had to leave all clothing in suitcases because there was no cabinetry to put clothes away bathroom had no room on counter had to put things on the floor and bathroom sink only had cold water

The room was very comfortable and spacious. Our children enjoyed the pool which was clean and well cared for. We ate three meals at the restaurant which were all great. The staff were all friendly. We saw iguanas and monkeys in the courtyard which was also fun. Highly recommend.

Good location for access to Playa Brasilito and Conchal and reasonable price for the area. Hotel rooms are simple and clean. Enjoyed morning conversations with our waiter Donald! Staff friendly and accommodating.

É um hotel mediano, com instalações antigas que já exigem reforma. Mas a cama era confortável e o quarto estava limpo. O ar condicionado não estava funcionando pois apenas ventilava. Café da manhã medíocre coko é comum nos hotéis da Costa Rica.

Es un hotel pequeño pero cómodo. Sugiero pedir habitaciones en el primer piso, pues las gradas son muy altas

Staff was so friendly, ac worked well,the restaurant was impeccable.

There was no hot water in the shower or sink for the entire stay. Hotel staff attempted to fix the problem with no success. When I booked our trip the hotel was supposed to have breakfast included and on check in we were informed that breakfast would not be included. I have screenshots showing breakfast included as well as paperwork at the hotel showing that breakfast is included. No breakfast! The room did not have adequate places for luggage. The room could have been cleaner. The concrete floors had sand and dirt on them. The door did not seal. You could see daylight under the door. I really can’t understand how this property was rated a 9.2 by Expedia???
