We were very surprised to find a small and beautiful town named Lechlade nearby. And it is 45 hours' drive to Cotswold which was quite acceptable. However the room was not tidy enough but still in the acceptable range.

Nice clean room and comfortable bed. Perfect for a one night stay. No issues parking as there's a large car park at the back

Convenient place to stay for the night. Friendly staff in the bar directed me to my room and gave instructions for leaving in the morning. Arrived in the evening so could find on-street parking close by, then moved my car to the carpark when there were spaces. Bed was comfy.

Room No. 7 very tired and dated. Mattress so uncomfortable. En-suite had bad smell, not the best hotel stay this year. Didn’t expect too much but was a let down. Check-in and staff all fine.

Very comfortable bed all clean and tidy could do with some tlc for example in the bathroom there's no where to hang towels etc sink plug chain is broken and door will not close needs planing to better fit

The food is amazing and lots of great home made food. Defo 5 star plus. The room is okay for the price but it was fine. Internet fine. I would stay again and it has a lovely family and friends feel.

Just stayed for a night so hard to form an educated opinion on the hotel. It was clean, probably could do with some modernisation but at this price it was definitely adequate. The staff and the food were excellent though

Very good location for the wedding and a reasonable rate for the night. Very comfy bed and good shower. The pub lunch was very tasty and excellently cooked, fish and chips and scampi were delicious. The car park at the back was welcome as limiting parking in the town.

OK, the venue is not going to be The Savoy. It is basic an ideally placed to get around the town, which I found very pleasent. Parking is good and no problem. However, parts of the room we stayed in were less than adequate. Draws missing and broken, and then put at the back of the room. The condtion of the furniture was of very poor condition. But, what annoyed and frustrated me the most was there was no remote for the TV. When leaving we asked one of the cleaners where it was, as we may have not found it. NO, they told me it was stolen, but not replaced. Its a shame, as the shower room was very clean. The beds were OK, and the sheets were very clean. Would I stay there again? Yes I would, as the advantages outweigh the disadvantages.
