酒店很好，早餐也很棒

it's a great guest house,room is tiny but clean. The breakfirst is good, however, the wifi in this hotel is not good all the time.

Pros- nice clean room, with TV, tea/coffee making facilities, good location within easy walk to public transport to city centre. Cons - I personally would prefer to meet the owners on arrival rather than being sent a message with codes for the front door and room door, WiFi password etc (but I guess it works for some people) just call me "old school" 😄 The only other thing that didn't work for us was the breakfast basket, we didn't feel there was enough for the money paid, basket contained a small carton of juice each, a small flapjack, a small pastry and a satsuma. To be fair to the owner he did message me and say that since COVID they only now supply a breakfast basket and if I wasn't happy with that I could cancel the booking, was just expecting a bit more to set us up for our day out.

Good location, pretty central, car parking available (though not guaranteed), clean room and shower room. Helpful owner happy to give advice. Breakfast is very basic tray in room.

There was no concierge to greet, help or advise you. It advertised a “continental” breakfast which was really just packaged treats already placed in your room. An email was sent to me regarding the codes to the house which I did not receive whether it be to spam or never being sent. When we called the property owner he seemed really put out that he had to come and open the door for us. I personally like staying at places where the staff is polite, cordial, and happy to help and that was not my experience at the Dorstan.

Home very well presented, rooms comfortable & location outstanding. Be aware sit down breakfast is not available.

I was amazed how clean this place was and also the price was excellent the owner very much hands on and extremely helpful I also witnessed him loading an app on phone for some German tourists to save them a fortune on city transport a colleague had booked in to a major hotel chain and paid £300 for the night and the room was filthy 100%recommend as value for money and how clean it was don’t expect a huge room and breakfast box is basic but at the price plenty money left to eat out

Everything is great! The place is very quiet and you can hear every step and creek. There's lots of rules in place like quiet hours and you cannot eat in there. Wouldn't stay again but

Lovely location I ll definitely recommend

Our stay was lovely. It s just 30 min walking from Royal mile or 15 min by bus ( bus stop literally 5 min away). Everything was very clean and well maintained. THE BASKET FILLED WITH SNACK IS SUPER NICE TOUCH( THEY DO IT EVERYDAY)

La stanza era in ordine e pulita. Il personale non lo abbiamo mai incontrato. Il cestino con la colazione che veniva lasciato quotidianamente in camera, non corrisponde alle immagini presenti sul sito della Guest House. La posizione è comunque comoda e ben servita dai mezzi pubblici e si trova ad soli 10 minuti dal centro.

Lovely and clean very quiet which I like and nice we touch of bringing breakfast to the door. Would definitely stay there again

Very clean room, Richard our host was very friendly & helpful with local information. The breakfasts were excellent.

Cute small room. the house has thin walls and staff seemed sensitive to normal noise.
